Old School Walkthrough Level 9 (Fixed)

When I originally rendered this video it looked like trash, but I uploaded it to UA-cam anyway. I ended up fixing this stuff after level 10, uploaded the higher quality version of that here... never uploaded the higher quality version Level 9 though.
For that I basically left it as a VidMe exclusive, however they are shutting down so fuck me I guess.

"As a content "creator" and as a person in general one of my biggest failings is not being able to finish things I start. Case in point: my walkthrough for 2008's classic Half-Life 2 mod HL2: Old School.
This damn thing has haunted me for the past 6 years as the first thing I was never able to finish.
I don't completely blame myself for this one though... several updates had been pushed to the Source engine at the time that broke compatibility with just about every mod that had been made up to that point.
It was a huge issue that caused many MANY mod authors to completely quit modding, and left a huge stain on Valve that never completely went away. Really it should have been a larger warning sign of the things to come.
The Steam Pipe update wasn't the first fuck you the Half-Life community had gotten, but it was the first in a long line of fuck yous that would lead everyone to realize that the company that had once been about listening to their community and making fun singleplayer games had turned into a company that only cared about microtransactions, gambling, and their bottom line.
As of the time I write this Marc Laidlaw, writer of the Half-Life franchise, has released a blog post detailing how the plot of Half-Life 2: Episode 3 may have happened. Valve sat on their collective asses for 10 years and did nothing.
Fuck Valve.
