Best explanation really it would take 2 months to understand this concept but I can't completely understand the concept of electroplating through other videos..........🥺 But now I can understand it really nice 😄 Thanks 😊😊😊
Thank you so much mam . This video helped me a lot. This helps me in my navodaya entrance exam preparation. And your way to explain is amazing, I think this is very helpful for class 8 students because I have solved a lot of doubts with the help of this vi.👍👍👍
Maam in electroplating if we take the example of copper plate 1 where we have taken copper sulphate as a solution and then we hv added sulphuric acid then in that sulphur ions were also there then why didn't they attracted towards pos. Terminal as they r negatively charged
Galvanizing something is a process of applying a layer of a more active metal to a base metal to protect the base metal. In most cases iron is coated with zinc, the zinc will corrode first since it is more the active metal (see the table of electro-negativity) thus protecting the iron from rusting. So the important layer, the iron, is kept from corrosion by sacrificing the zinc coating. There are two ways of applying the zinc, (or other sacrificial metal) hot dipping, where the base piece is dipped into a molten bath of the zinc, or electroplating, where the base piece has zinc plated onto it, which may be done to get a thinner smoother layer.

Sister what about Galvanization?
Is it different from Electroplating.
the zinc coating process is called galvanization
Galvanizing something is a process of applying a layer of a more active metal to a base metal to protect the base metal. In most cases iron is coated with zinc, the zinc will corrode first since it is more the active metal (see the table of electro-negativity) thus protecting the iron from rusting.
