Hi, I need help in my Project. I have drawn a Form in Object Mode but my biggest Problem is that I can not turn this Object in to a Wall or Roof that I can connect the Walls till the Object hight. The form is complex and the hight is different everywhere. I have different hight in my Room.(p.s. I have tried to turn the Object in Object Mode to a Wall or Roof it doesnt work..)
I hope that I could explain my Problem. Thank you very much...

Is there a better way to this for big projects? I can imagine this would take forever if you are using curtain grid for something other than windows? I know a lot of people will use curtain grid for paneling in Civil Engineering?

Yep in practice this isn't very typical. We tend to work level by level and take advantage of model groups and panel families to dictate typical setouts. Curtain grids are a major drag sometimes, so we try not to do the invisible subgrid technique where we can get away with it. Some engineers using curtain panels for precast panels, but most large firms use dedicated families and use automation tools to convert basic walls into panelized runs of loosely placed families.

@@AussieBIMGuru could you please do one video of what you said above?

@@arunraj_r too complex for youtube style videos I'd say. We use Rhino and Rhino inside combined with adaptive component families, quite a lot of content out there on those techniques/platforms.

@@AussieBIMGuru ok thanks for letting me know. Then we could sya that Revit Massing is for conceptual purposes only.

@@arunraj_r at best. Most firms do concept in rhino in architecture. Revit is not a great tool for concepts. I don't think BA really uses much more than Revit, and unsure where he works.
