better than wolves will forever hold a special place for being the first mod to add such a huge revamp of ideas and features in the game. it was essentially, "hey we wanted all this cool stuff and all they did was add wolves into the game"
although my friends think i'm crazy for still liking the older versions of minecraft, i think it had the best ambition to become the greatest survival game to exist, and the community pushed it to be exactly that.
it's kind of sad to see it become a corporate money grab with its current state. i don't want shaders or combat mechanics, i want the stuff that better than wolves added. I want the feeling of playing with 5 different people where we all discover different stuff and share it with each other

Dude I feel the same way! Older version mods (like galacticraft, twilight forest, Aether, mekanism, AE2, and more) made the game way better than these newer updates. The updates are nice and all, but the mods are a staple to this game!

Long as it’s not distracting :]] if you want ideas mood music could help, like if something intense is happening you can play intense music or something, it doesn’t have to be continuous throughout the video too, you can just play some in certain moments, if you want music recs, Minecraft’s soundtrack is already there and also a lot of free use music is available on UA-cam!! Good work tho!! Rooting for you!!

I used slabs because its easier to walk on and yes jumping does really use a lot of hunger. The game’s hunger mechanic was redesigned by the mod

Just curious why don’t u jump? Is jumping disabled in this mod pack?

Jumping consumes a lot of hunger, and the mod does not care about quality of life, so you have to tediously craft dirt slabs to place when you are trying to go over a 1 block height difference

Exactly as @ichimiustin8390 says it! The mod reworks the hunger system so you need to preserve your hunger better. And that is why you see me on half hunger a lot. You can regen health up until it says you are peckish right above the bar! :)
