In this vlog, I documented my journey from Mumbai to Bali, which included a layover in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, and a flight with VietJet Air. The trip began with an unexpected 3-hour delay in Mumbai, which I shared in detail, highlighting both the excitement of starting my trip and the frustration of waiting. During this time, I explored the Mumbai airport, finding ways to pass the time and capturing the atmosphere and activities within the terminal. After finally departing from Mumbai, I arrived in Ho Chi Minh City for my layover, where I navigated through the airport and dealt with the fatigue of prolonged travel, all while finding interesting sights and sounds to keep myself entertained.
The delay from Mumbai added a layer of challenge to the entire journey, and I talked about handling the travel stress, managing time during the layover, and tips for fellow travelers on coping with such situations. Once the layover in Ho Chi Minh City was over, I boarded the flight to Bali and captured the boarding process, the in-flight experience with VietJet Air, and my thoughts on the service and comfort provided by the airline. Upon arriving in Bali, I felt a sense of relief and renewed excitement, sharing my initial impressions of the beautiful island and my plans for exploring it.

Do we need Vietnam visa as well ? As there is a layover
Not need if airline is same and also pnr
Recently travelled with vietjet to bali. Very bad service, flight got delayed both the time by 7-8 hours without any proper update, seats are not comfortable, no charging ports in the flight, Even they charge for water( 300 rupees for a 300 ml bottle). Not going to travel with this airline in future.

Hi Rajat, I also planned my trip with the same Flights from Mumbai to Bali. I have 2 questions -First Do we need an Indonesian visa for transit, and second do we need to do the self-transfer of check-in bags. Because as I know we need the Transit Visa if there is a self-transfer. (I have the same Vietjet Air flight with Same PNR for both of the flights). Thank you in advance

Indonesian visa you are saying for transit ..i think you want to say Vietnam visa .. if that so then no need
And if Indonesia visa .. you can take on arrival or EVOA
2. If you opted self transfer that means you will collect bags at vietnam and do checking again ..in that case you will be needing transit visa .. but looks like its same pnr than i think no visa required
Please check with vietjet airlines in mumbai during checkin and make sure you get bags at bali airport ..in that case you don’t need anything except indonesia visa on arrival

What if we have checked-in luggage? Does VietJet transfer luggage through to the destination? Do we need a transit visa?
I'm flying to Bali from Bombay with VietJet, and have a layover at Ho Chi Minh.

No worries on check-in luggage they will give you in Bali (Don't opt for self transfer)
no visa needed (if Same PNR through out and same airline)
My airline and layover was same too.

No if you have booked upto bali in single time with same pnr ,then no need to transfer on your own also while on counter just check with them.
If you take your luggage at vietnam then you will need vietnam visa too for check in again .
Also at time on counter they will confirm about your luggage too.#noselfcheckin

Airline is good and comfortable but meri bhi late hui thi flight but they have arranged everything and jyda impact nhi hua. Agr aur accha option nhi hai then go for it. Because in terms of price its affordable

No needed , but confirm them at time of checkin bags in india .

Boarding toh hogi but tranfer waali your bags will directly go to bali flight and you too via transfer ..so no need to check in
Bro meri flight Delhi to Bali, layover vietnam mein hai 1:30 hr ka, bro agar delhi wali flight late hogai toh kuch problem hogi kya? flight Vietair se hai
Same happened in my case but wo next waali flight reschedule kar dia tha
And make sure your both flights are same airline company.like you said vietjet hai toh vietnam se bhi wahi honi chaie .. then no problem
