Before serving 3 years of military service during World War II, Ted won baseball's coveted triple crown by leading the league in batting average, home runs and runs batted in. Upon returning to the major leagues in 1946, he promptly won the American League Most Valuable Player award.

Also when they whip out Ted’s strike zone on where he best hit pitches I love that his cold zone starts at .300 and is mostly in the high 2’s. Yeah the whole league would love to hit what his cold zone is today.
