- Today I got an extremely relaxing (and extremely thorough) full shave in NYC Chinatown for just $5. Then I followed it up with a really amazing Chinese head wash and head massage in the barbershop for an additional $7. This is my favorite barbershop in NYC, amazing prices and amazing experience. That shave was basically dermaplaning. For us women at a spa, they would cost close to $100. You got it for $5! I need to find a Chinese barber!

At least in China there is no tipping. I pay $8.50 for hair washed with back & head massage, shave and hair cut and a second hair washing after cut

@@lovestoned6139 it’s a system of reward given to workers of a business. It enables the customer to provide direct evidence of the quality of the job. Satisfied give extra unsatisfied give less etc.

This kind of massage is very common in Chinese barbershops, as long as you come into the shop to have a shave, haircut or shampoo, there will be massage service, and the price is very low!
that's a guy who knows how to do a shave.... the way he Streches the skin and takes his time is an art........ god job

Love your videos. I worked in Chinatown for years and love your Chinese restaurant reviews. What about doing a strictly Dumpling house review? Tasty Dumpling on Mulberry, Vanessa Dumpling on Eldridge, Fried Dumpling on Mosco St? Just an idea, would hopefully bring business to small restaurants and would make a good video!

Best shave I've ever had was in a back alley neighborhood barbershop in Kathmandu, Nepal.They massage your face for 10 minutes with creams and then use a straight razor. I also got a haircut and you get a scalp massage & neck massage before the trim. Both were only 200 Rupiyas= $2 Dollars US!!!

That is the first time I have seen a razor shave without the use of a brush and lather. Good video, and he styled your hair well.

Hot towel softened everything up. His hair may not be thick, as well.

I only shave dry with a 3 blades from Amazon Basics, works wonders and is perfectly good if you shave often enough or have a very sharp blade like this guy

Chinese don't actually care about tip culture, it's not something that really exists in China, but it might be different for Chinese working in New York

How long was the entire process? Boy, he sure found the knots in your neck. Now, time for your nap! That beats the royal shave in England ten-fold!
You think so? It’s a lot cheaper. But you can tell from the sounds he makes the royal shave was more enjoyable. He also had some nicks n burn as well.
