Exactly it is such a beautiful place to leave and work.I went to Arua in 2000.It's my root. The second time was in 2020 and had it not been the phone you guys,I was lost.I often go to Aruan and one time I will go and stay forever.
Yes this is good, ugandan s let's advocate for federal system in that evert tribe abd region gets money from the government to develop its own region, by improving infrastructure and social amenities.
4:39 ; seeing myself(the two ladies in red and sky blue tops) on your vlog. Lol. I actually spotted you when you were vlogging because of the gopro. I then told my friend whom we were with that I've just seen a creator on a bike and pointed at you. I tried all possible search terms that day to get your channel but I didn't succeed. But today, YT algorithm just brought your channel to my home page and immediately I saw the video, I was convinced before watching that it's you I saw. Funnily, my friend (Munduru Freda) whom we were with had found your channel but she never even bothered to tell me😅. Good job gal, keep going. Arua is a beautiful upcoming city. I enjoyed my stay among the Lubaras and in Uganda at large. I'm coming back soon in December. Hope to meet you now😊
Oh wow, yessss i see you now 😁 it's amazing what the YT algorithm can do. I'm so happy our paths crossed even though we didn't know then. Freda is my OG from Muni University actually
Thanks for showing us around Arua.Looks much better than i left it.We're unlucky you didn't take us to Mvara and Ediofe which i would argue are the most beautiful areas in Arua.
Arua being near the airfield there won't have tall buildings just like how Entebbe is it's because of emergency landing incase of accidents. Urban centers near air ports have short buildings.
@@Moshaehiz without tall buildings. It will remain ordinary town. Tall buildings don't reffer to highcrappers. Even in Kampala there is no tall building that can prevent an aircraft to land in kololo airstrip , how about arua
I worked and lived in Ug for 6 years and transversed 80% of the country and everytime I look at the towns that were granted city status in Ug and just wonder. But we understand this was hugely political...Without any doubt I can tell you Kampala is the only town that qualifies to be a city in Uganda.
But it's not about size not all cities are of the same size, some are small, other are smaller, some are big while others are bigger. If it was the case Kigali wouldn't be a city. And we don't have free land in Uganda like in kenya. Here most land is owned by individuals.
It was intentional. I only covered the busy streets of Arua or should I say CBD. I know other parts of the city but they're not busy so I chose not to cover them
The monument will a Leopard which represents the Lugbara then thhere will be a restaurant ND A TELESCOPE TO VIEW MIDDLE EAST CITIES, West Africa and Western Europe

Distance from Kampala to Arua is 451KM via Masindi and 522KM via Karuma. Great vid
Thank you
Thanks for the tour though you left out the kololo of Arua both cathedrals Ediofe and Emmanuel the Airstrip among others
Très instructif ta vidéo 💯
Great work. If you have time show us Arua airport updates.
That would be the next time I visit
Thank u for taking us around.the town looks smart its only lucking tall buildings to qualify for a city. The roads are better
I agree tall buildings will make it look even better
Arua being near the airfield there won't have tall buildings just like how Entebbe is it's because of emergency landing incase of accidents. Urban centers near air ports have short buildings.
This makes so much sense. Thanks for sharing

Oh no! Arua is approximately 480-490km from Kampala
❤
Did you say Arua is approximately 228km from Kampala??? Is that by air?
"228km from kampala by road" might not be the right distance
Wow , Nice content here Arua city must be a vibe,I would love to visit Nambale
You mean Mbale?
@@NabzArah yeah that one 🤣🤣
I wouldn't agree with the caption and the monument but the city is beautiful
It will soon be complete, let's wait and see
Arua is 431 km from Kampala
Thanks for the correction
Could you please update us on what’s happening to your friend Lawrence in Rwanda.
It wasn't in my position to talk about but he has addressed it on his community tab on UA-cam
Arua city is not small, next time put enough money for a boda guys to take u all around the town.
I know other parts of the city, they're just not as busy as the area I chose to focus on
What qualifies as a city in Uganda? That city looks too small in comparison to Eldoret or Thika towns in Kenya.
I worked and lived in Ug for 6 years and transversed 80% of the country and everytime I look at the towns that were granted city status in Ug and just wonder. But we understand this was hugely political...Without any doubt I can tell you Kampala is the only town that qualifies to be a city in Uganda.
The argument is, don't wait for it to be to a city level to grant it the status n it will work its way fast to reach the level. So I learned too.
Everything in Uganda is about politics that's why development is hard to come by
@ssemujjuyusuff2077 a sad reality
But it's not about size not all cities are of the same size, some are small, other are smaller, some are big while others are bigger. If it was the case Kigali wouldn't be a city. And we don't have free land in Uganda like in kenya. Here most land is owned by individuals.
Good content, but seems every town is a city in UG ama?
No every town is not a city. We have only 15 cities in Uganda
15cities wah city lost its meaning
Nevermind they were just recently granted city status meaning they have potential of developing it into a near future
Arua is my name😭😭😭
😅😅
I wonder if Asian Indians operate businesses in Arua city, factories as well as shops!
They do
Be careful the boda guys can give you some stories which are 😂😂
Oh I confirmed with someone else
It can't be 228 km from Kampala by road when Gulu is 330km.
You have covered only 25% of the city centre and your tour guardian did not do you Justice.
I hope you first try another time my sister
It was intentional. I only covered the busy streets of Arua or should I say CBD. I know other parts of the city but they're not busy so I chose not to cover them
Why not pay school fees for some poor kids... Monuments ate a waste of money
The monument will a Leopard which represents the Lugbara then thhere will be a restaurant ND A TELESCOPE TO VIEW MIDDLE EAST CITIES, West Africa and Western Europe
Wow, I can't wait to visit once it's all complete
