We run high performance rotax drag motors in our open mod sleds, you can run a looped cooling system to connect to a cool down cart if you want to run with no radiator, but i bet they have a small one on there
The Ski-Doo dealer here in Michigan did one with a three cylinder 800 Mach Z motor. I had a chance to drive it and it was just plain stupid fast , it would do wheelies with out weight out back .

i like the monsterous battery on the back yet it starts via a cordless drill. and no helmet! im in a wheelchiar from a motorcycle accident, im here to tell you if you dont think it can happen to you your waaay wrong. but good job that thing looks fun.
chris vogel . We have a 440 in our G2 . Did you replace the secondary clutch spring with a stiffer one? Ours hooks up pretty good but you can tell it's slipping a little and I want to fix that. Just looking for ideas. awesome build, We're going to replace the front end with modern quads for stability at speed.
i hate constant velocity transmissions or (belt drives usually ) but im speaking from a 4 wheeler point of view they never last behind my honda in the creek ha but yeah i know the roll out pretty quick

Basically looks like one there's not that a big of a difference between a sea doo and ski doo that are both about the same age will look similar because they were developed by the same people and company

@cossiedresser i know what it is + not hard to read the description.... it is basically a cvt belt & pulley , & like i said someone needs to learn to use it .
the one we built had a VWbug transaxl and engine was sidewase with quad tires still had the cluch/beltdrive was far faster than this was kep in second most of the time using first towing an old flat bottom boat on an axl with 15 kids in it and a keg of bear up a large hill or third to run up the road a mile to buddys house you could jam fourth at like 30 but that was to shakie conserding it would scream 60 in second insain scarry only done 3 times two of witch almost killed the driver fun days

A traditional gearbox maybe would've worked a little better but an awesome cart, imagine going golfing in that thing haha

@kevinreid It´s a snowmobile engine. Snowmobiles don´t have normal clutches!

true there are no gears but you can change the internal springs of the clutch and make it grab at a different RPM
