I have this exact same model and finally decided to open it yesterday… Not going to lie, this video didn’t really explain any guidelines on what settings are appropriate for which batteries… Hopefully, I can find a video of yours explaining those guidelines! Much love! 🤘🏼❤️
I’m liking this one so far, the bays are a little snug though. I change batteries every day so I need something a little more durable, while only three days in so far I think this one will do the trick. The Foxnovo it’s replacing was a solid charger.
I just received the Lii-500 I ordered from Amazon and I'm trying to run some tests on some 18650 batteries I have. One battery I was able to fully charge, but if I try the Fast Test or the Nor Test it shows END without discharging the battery and stops doing anything. So is there something wrong with the charger that would stop it from discharging the battery or a problem with the battery?
Why do I want to do anything else outside "charge"? what is the fast charge for and the NOR charge? most folks pop a battery inside a charger and wants a fully charged battery in hours time, what are all these unnecessary functions for to be honest? to justify spending extra money? somebody please explain the various charging modes and their uses/applications. by the way, I'm stuck between this and the xtar vc4.
The extra modes could help you repair a battery that has been overcharged or allow you to measure a battery’s capacity. It’s actually pretty useful. I don’t have the vc4 but I did just get sent a vc8 from xtar, I’ve also used other xtar products in the past, never had any issues. This LC500 gets used everyday and performs great.
Thanks for the close-up of the adapter, nowhere in the included documentation does it give the polarity of the power port... I purchased this exact model of LiitoKala charger from an outfit called acwholesaler on ebay, and though the posted ad clearly states that a US plug adapter will be sent if no preference specified, I received mine with NO ADAPTER. It was shipped in an official looking box marked LiitoKala, that was too small to even fit an adapter. The seller insists that the billing list on purchase matches what he sent, to his credit this seems true, but it is also true that the ad doesn't mention anything about having to purchase your own adapter. Worse, there is a warning in the ad and in the instruction book, to not substitute an adapter, only use the one provided with your purchase! uh, hey there, over here! yeah, I didn't get an adapter, what now? Well if you'd checked the fine print, sir you see that it doesn't include the charger! Well, I have a rather large box of adapters of every description. I matched one- though only .5 amp instead of 2 using the polarity seen in your video.- I have to further search for bigger one... The charger screen lit up, it works. I can now put the charger through its cycles, though I bet it will take its time charging! Just a word of warning about this item being sold on EBay, The seller I dealt with was cheaper- by the price of an adapter! his was a statement in your ad- Note:I have US Plug,EU Plug,(Optional),please leave me a message(How to do:ebay order process :Note Part ),or US Plug will be default. I have received the charger with no US adapter, no adapter at all! I can't remember if I stated preference or not, but according to this statement in the advert, a US plug will be the default if no preference is stated... I received the charger, and I got no adapter at all with it. If this has been sent separately and I receive it shortly I'll revise my opinion, but... shouldn't an item that requires an adapter to function, be packaged with the adapter present? Their response- twice... Dear buyer, Thanks for your mail. Sorry for the inconvenience. The US plug is refer to the item itself, not about the adapter, as you can see in the package list, there is no adapter include. Have a nice day. Have a nice day!!!!? WHY YOU!!! first time I can forgive, second time, after my further quoting the wording in their ad, now you are just goading me! Sure I can pay the postage and try to return the item! But that's not the issue, I would have even bought an adapter from them if they had offered one! Watch out for those shifty sellers. 12v dc with center pin positive, if it fits it should power it up, yep, it did, thanks again. I bet if you reverse the polarity you get a purty yellow puff of smoke... That's why most items have polarity posted on info label or right next to power port, Mr. Liito!
12V at 2A = 4A at 6V
It can charge 4A or more because of the input voltage is 12 Volt.
The output Voltage is only 5V to the batteries.
