✅ Meat fondue [complete recipe]

  • For this recipe, we use our own beef broth recipe, which is detailed at the end of the description.
    Meat fondue recipe
    Meat fondue ingredients:
    1 liter of beef broth (recipe described at the end);
    1 liter of red wine;
    3 small onions;
    5 slices of ginger;
    1 tablespoon of soy sauce;
    6 cinnamon husks;
    3 star rings;
    1 tablespoon of black pepper;
    3 cloves;
    1 piece of filet mignon cut into small cubes.
    How to prepare the meat fondue:
    (1) Put the wine in a fondue pot.
    (2) Add onions, ginger, cinnamon, anise, black pepper and cloves.
    (3) Simmer for 2 minutes.
    (4) Add soy sauce and broth.
    (5) Simmer for another 2 minutes over medium heat.
    (6) Skewer a cube of filet mignon and cook in the meat fondue until it reaches your taste.

    Beef broth recipe
    Meat broth ingredients:
    1kg of beef cut into cubes;
    1 chopped onion;
    2 chopped garlic cloves;
    1 celery stick;
    1 leek;
    1 sprig of rosemary;
    1 bunch of thyme;
    1 tablespoon of salt;
    5 bay leaves;
    1 bunch of chopped chives;
    1 bunch of chopped parsley;
    1 bunch of chopped coriander;
    1 tablespoon of black pepper;
    3 liters of water;
    4 tablespoons of oil.
    How to prepare the meat broth:
    (1) Put the oil in a pan and add the minced meat.
    (2) Let the meat brown well and add the salt, pepper, bay leaves, thyme and rosemary.
    (3) Stir for 2 minutes while the mixture is fried.
    (4) Add the chives, parsley, cilantro, garlic, celery and onion.
    (5) Finally, add water and cook for 2 hours over low heat.
    (6) Once ready, strain the broth and set aside to be added to the meat fondue.

    The pre cut beef that they sell at most any grocery store for Fajitas works great for Fondue, especially if your a lazy Gourmet like myself.😂
    Cubbed meat is most people’s preference but again…..lazy chef.
    So that was beef Au Jus you boiled it in. Yummy. I like serving it where everyone flame sears it before dipping in fondue to instead of traditional boiling in oil.

      Quali germi se viene tutto bollito? I germi muoiono a 60° Celsius (140° F) quel brodo durante la fondue ha almeno 90° C (190° F) .

      Then what you dip cooked meat in a cheese fondue it’s perfectly sanitary as long as no one double dips, just like chips and dip @ a party.

    I’d prefer an oil fondue, with a nice tempura batter to coat the meats 🤤 deep frying in broth just seems wrong. But maybe all those spices add some flavor 🤷‍♂️
