I'm in serious trouble. I've been trying to get help for over 2 years when symptoms started. I have not been properly assessed or tested by doctors. Now I am seriously impaired in so many ways. I have fibro but I never had all these other symptoms until about 2 years ago i thought I was developing me cfs but I had severe ibs lost 80 pounds fast. I went to the ER so many times and was treated as "frequent flyer" I saw a neurologist he did not do an assessment but charted that he did and refused to do a mri. Did a sleep study that's it. Which was awful. I don't know what is going on . do I have a combo of fibro/me cfs plus I'm really worried they missed wernickes.... I am terrified. This is feeling very permanent. I truly am upset if this is permanent and it was missed bcuz I was also labeled a drug seeker which I am not. This is not good . my brain feels like cotton I thought it was brain fog. Maybe its a combo. All I know is i have become very disabled. I can tell something is very very wrong . I feel like I have not been taken seriously. I graduated with honors and I literally don't think I could do like basic math etc. Yes. Dizzy. Nausea ibs....inflammation positive for abnormal cytokines etc... then add the psych meds and I'm prob permanently damaged. This is unreal. I'm terrified.

As far as you know, are there any (potential) natural remedies to help handle Glutamic Decarboxylase Acid Antibody associated Ataxia specifically?

Look at the Journal Nutrients I believe, authors Kharrhazian and Vojdani. They looked at gluten and dairy peptides as irritants or driving factors for GAD antibodies. I'm not sure if any other researchers have looked into this. In terms of other supplements, I'm not aware of any as a standalone treatment. I use supplements in these cases to synergistically work on intestinal hyperpermeabiity and the microbiome.

I wanted to hear more about Mitochondria and also flu. I have had M.E.for 5 years and noticed mild episodic knee and ankle weakness when most fatigued. In April I think I got Covid and have had much more severe gait and balance issues, sometimes unable to walk at all. Is there any research on this?
