Hello, I'd like to ask about the school facilities are there: 1. A very good study room? 2. A computer room? 3. A gym and how was it? 4. Please what stores/shops do they have available? Thank you so much
Hi Damilola, Sorry I just saw this comment. There is a group study room in one of the dorms that can accommodate singles and groups and has a few vending machines. There's not a computer room in the dorms. I'm not sure if there's one somewhere else. I think you have to have your own computer but I do think they provide wifi. 3. There are small gyms in each of the dorms with weights and treadmills. They're not fancy but they have the basics. 4. There are several convenience stores on campus, including a self-service shop in the dorms, and some little markets nearby. For groceries and supplies I had to take a bus 10 minutes down the road to an area called Jeonjung (or something like that). If you'd like to see pics and more info I blogged my trip and you can view it here: carolandkarl.com/blog/22-days-in-south-korea/
As I can see, you can't cook anything by yourself in the dorm other than microwaved stuff, right? It's pretty sad... But what about the university's canteen if there is one? Was it good?
You're correct. You can't cook in the dorm other than a microwave. The cafeteria was really good and super affordable. You can get a large lunch for as little as $4 US and the food was great.
I'm not sure which of those names applies to it, but this is the on-campus dorm. There are four connected buildings that make it up A-D. Hope that helps.
안녕하세요? Great three weeks learning Korean with everyone 🙂
I miss y'all. I wish we could do it again. We had such a great group and I had such a great time with everyone.
Is there two beds dorm in Kookmin University dormitory?
I don't like four beds dorms
The off campus dorms have two beds, but they are more expenisive. The only option on campus is this one.
which dorm were you staying at, because i think there are multiple right?
I was staying at the on-campus dorm. There are technically four buildings but they're all connected and basically the same from what I saw.
