$500/month Brazilian Forest Apartment with Monkeys and Fast Wifi, Florianópolis

I live in this apartment in southern Brazil (Florianópolis, Santa Catarina) with 1GB/S Fiber internet, monkeys for neighbors and this amazing view for under $500/month.
I needed a place where I would feel comfortable hunkering down for a few months to focus on work without going insane. So the place had to be in nature, the internet had to be great, and i was looking for a place secluded so I wouldn’t have too many distractions for the time being.
And I found this gorgeous apartment here in southern Brazil that fit all those criteria. A studio with more than enough space for me, I have a great view from my desk and can sometimes see monkeys swinging from the trees while I’m coding which is such a unique experience.
Overall it’s been quite a unique experience living in here, it’s very peaceful and there’s tons of hummingbirds and life to see from the balcony, and I’ve really enjoyed living here, highly recommend especially if you are a digital nomad!

Eu moro neste apartamento no Canto da Lagoa, Florianópolis, com internet de fibra de 1GB/S, macacos como vizinhos e essa vista incrível, tudo por 2,800 por mês.
Eu precisava de um lugar onde eu me sentisse confortável para ficar por alguns meses e focar no trabalho sem enlouquecer. Então o lugar tinha que ser na natureza, a internet tinha que ser excelente, e eu estava procurando um lugar isolado para não ter muitas distrações por um tempo.
E encontrei este lindo apartamento aqui no sul do Brasil que atendeu a todos esses critérios. Um estúdio com mais do que espaço suficiente para mim, tenho uma vista maravilhosa da minha mesa e às vezes vejo macacos balançando nas árvores enquanto estou programando, o que é uma experiência única.
No geral, tem sido uma experiência bastante única viver aqui. É muito tranquilo e há muitos beija-flores e vida para observar da varanda. Tenho realmente aproveitado morar aqui!
