I'm still puzzled why their songs aren't widely known, their songs are sooo good I can't stop playing them again and again!
Agree! Only Honestly that I know from early 2000 until I found If There Was A Time early this year 2023. Then realize they have so many amazing songs!
Harem Scarem should be the first entry in the dictionary definition of underappreciated.
Totally agree but I would also include AOR as the most underappreciated and underrated rock genre. Heck most people I talk to over here in Northern Ireland haven't even heard of AOR never mind Harem Scarem.

What a pity! Such a great band but almost unknown...
Several years back Harry and Pete had a listening party for the release of their Thirteen album. My son and I (who is now a die hard fan) went to their studio in Toronto and hung out with the guys for an afternoon. I have great memories and pictures from that day. We listen to the album hung out with the guys had lunch and a few beers. They treated us like Kings and both Harry and Pete went out of their way to get to know each one of us. They paid special attention to my son and were very gracious and accommodating. So not only are they outstanding musicians but they are outstanding dudes as well. I think this maybe my favourite tune from them.....so far. Based on my experience with them that day its no surprise to see how they could write such a tune like this one. One of the best bands on the planet in my opinion.

You guys have been a special voice in transcending songs that enlighten & touch your soul. Pete's guitar rhythms are so powerful & emotional, and Harry's voice is incredible! You're an amazing duo!

As a Canadian it is beyond frustrating that these guys are virtually unknown or best remembered as a one hit wonder in there home country. Harem Scarem should be up there with April Wine, Rush, Tragically Hip, Blue Rodeo, Neil Young etc.... as Canadian music legends.

These guys are so freaking bad ass! I don't know why they don't tour in the US. Every single one of their songs is incredible, melodic, and will stand up to any of the modern Rock songs out there. He guys gotta come to the US, preferably Arizona. Amazing song. Keep going. You guys are unbelievable.

I first met this great band when 13years old, around 1993-94. Pete was on Japanese most famous guitar magazine at the time. Their beautiful chorus and skillful rock sound perfectly catch my heart. Unfortunately big success didn't come to them, but I really happy to know they're still active and keep creating nice songs. Harem Scarem is forever!

Wow..I saw comments saying "these guys are under rated" and I agree totally. Great vocals, excellent sound and killer production. You know, and I say this not to be critical, but to hopefully inspire something. Change your look....NOT your looks. You guys all have great faces and frames, but something is missing in the look. You each have a "character" about you...EMPHASIZE that. I guarantee if you have someone that will guide you through that and you step out at the next concert/gig you WILL notice a difference in how the audience receives you. I say this out of hopes to see a great band become GREATER!! Rock On!

Ok, so I was a big 80s hair metal maniac, but am embarrassed to say I never heard of them until a few years ago. Criminally underrated band with fantastic vocals, guitars, and production! After going back and listening to their older stuff, they're literally the only band from that era making BETTER music today. And, by the way, Who Killed Metal?
