Hey 29yr. old, have you seen the Pavarotti sing it ? There’s one vid that has the lyrics and as a 60yr. old Zepp & Hendrix fan after a few hard Mikes I’m belting it out along with him. As a teen I made fun of Pavarotti, now I sing with him. I’m hooked on Nessun Dorma and watch vids of different singers. Rock on

His vibrato seems artificial I'm not sure what is happening. Like does he not have enough support he could sound absolutely amazing though.
@@derekluna7700 vibrato need time to sound naturally. He is not that special trained singer actually. Hes doing superb already at this point

So happy I found this and to be honest as powerful and amazing his voice is, you need to find the youtube of him singing at the Kiev opera hall...he sang "The first time I ever say your face" in Italian and it brought the house down. I have always loved listening to him but not watching...just close your eyes and listen to his ability to hit those higher octave notes. His range is great, his clarity is great and his voice is one of the great ones...still an Andrea fan but Paul comes in at my top 3....I wish he would get a promoter that could get more of his music out...just like Jonathan Antoine..he needs a handler also....

He may not be the next Lucianno Pavarotti or Andrea Bocelli, but that's definitley the best quality of his voice. He's his own person, and he has his own voice and passion.

It's certainly a notable voice that Potts has got but he doesn't have the right technique (for an opera singer; for a pop singer, this is great). To me, his low notes sound weak and unsupported and his whole voice seems manipulated. There are times when you get a glimpse of his true voice but they quickly are covered by the unnatural sound he has learnt to produce from someone/somewhere. I'm glad, however, that Potts put his singing on the internet for everyone to experience and I think that with the right technique he has such a beautiful, resonant voice, I hope he finds it one day.
Keep in mind that audio sound quality has changed alot in just a short time. Go listen to Pavarotti and compare the sound quality. If he were alive today he would sound even better with modern tech.
@@davidjakiela9553 Personally, I think (opera) voices sound better when they are recorded in a realistic manner so that you get a sense of how they sound in real life, in the room, hearing the overtones and the way it vibrates off the walls. However, today, we seem to be moving more and more away from that. Do you agree?
