I really liked the video! Explained your process of figuring the best DTF printer for your needs as well as gave some super helpful tips on how/where to source equipment and consumables. Thank you for sharing your experience. I look forward to more videos, tips, and tricks. Wishing you the best of success.
I purchased my Audley from the same place. I just got it set up but haven’t printed yet. You are very correct about the support not being all that great. It’s not for a lack of trying but the language barrier definitely gets in the way. I would love some help on making sure my settings are right for my first print as well as clean up afterwards. Thank so much for your videos
I'm also very curious...with my current printer, the film goes at a downward angle, there's not slack where the printing takes place. I noticed on your videos that it seems like it's looser close to where the print head lays the ink. Does this not result in more printhead strikes? With the price of those print heads, I definitely don't want to have that issue.
Awesome video! I have a smaller XP600 DTF printer with a similar setup (powder shaker + oven). The question I have is how often do you need to refill the powder? For mine, the powder ran out so fast that I had to keep my eyes out every 5 minutes or so. I just can't multi-task while the printer is running.
Hey, what interface do you use for your website? Specifically for people to customize designs right on the site and then submit them to print? I'd love to use that for our custom apparel business.Just from the look of your website it looks like it might use a WIX backbone, I wonder if that's available for a Shopify store...
Awesome. I decided to take your advice and just have my prints done by a local shop he is normally next day service and we can pick up so much easier. But still interested in checking out the course for future purchase of the printer
You talk about registration - some of us understand "registration" however as you talk about this I don't know if you have ever completely explained this (brushed on this slightly in video's but not covered it) - might want to go into this in a future episode. My 4 head printer crate has been opened but not unpacked - my shop hasn't been finished but should be at the start of Nov (crossing fingers) so shortly after that I will see how it goes. Been missing daily updates here.
Hey man great video, we’re right here in Cypress. We would love a chance to come film the shop one day. We love showing local DTF businesses here in Houston. With that said, did you ever consider the Mimaki DTF printer?
I asked a while ago if anyone had any experience with Mimaki DTF printers but I never heard anything. I think they’re too new to DTF to trust at the current moment. I’d like to see more case studies using these machines vs an Audley or China printer. Plus the ink experience just seems off putting idk, I have to look into it further I think.
@@chooseams That’s understandable. As you can see in our videos, we teamed up with them to help answer all of those questions and concerns for people. We grew our company with Audleys but once we got to really work with the Mimaki we saw the major differences. Their ink is proprietary and made by them. Which means consistency and it’s always available. As brokers we get all items a lot closer to MSRP vs other companies like DTF Super Store. Also, if you ever wanted a demo, the Mimaki showroom is right in Irving. You should come check it out sometime.
Just a basic computer, was like $400 at Microcenter. We developed our website in house ontop of a few different frameworks using a lot of custom code to get it to where it is now.
I’m about to order a machine for our business here in Australia. What software would you recommend for customers to upload their files. Love the content! Keep it up, from Gold Coast Australia
Great content as always! I have been going through hell with Ricoma dtf printer you made a great move dealing with the manufacturer because even Ricoma all the tech help I ask for they always say wait we are waiting for china smh don’t even talk about the price tag and no return at all policy sucks gambling with these printers
Wow that’s disappointing to hear…. Especially that they themselves were dealing with China and not even possessing the knowledge first hand.. very interesting. Thanks for your comment and watching
What do you do for your printers during the weekends? Do you lose your Saturday and Sunday by having to coming to the office to run the machine to keep from drying out the ink in the printheads?
It’s my understanding that you don’t want to suck the heat out and only want to suck the fumes. So balancing act. Could be wrong tho, it just says 105mm away from heater on the ventilation tube.
I installed the 4 head audley. It was very difficult as there is so little space in the printhead carriage to work with. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone who hasn't installed printheads before. As far as printing goes. The colors are beautiful and the speed is unbelievably fast.
My two head Audley just arrived and I can’t wait to get it up and running.
How is it going if you don’t mind me asking

Looking to get a 24 inch dtf printer,Thanks a lot
Great info!! Are you still thinking about doing the audley DTF course?
Yeah, I haven’t found the time to edit it all down and do the A roll content for it. Working on getting it out before Black Friday.

So that’s a Ricoma??
The printer in my video as I mentioned is an Audley
What do you do for your printers during the weekends? Do you lose your Saturday and Sunday by having to coming to the office to run the machine to keep from drying out the ink in the printheads?
Good question, I use capping solution which allows us to get away with not running the printer for a few days.
@@chooseams Do you have a detailed video on that process?
@@chooseamswhat is capping
What software do you use?
Can we use flexi rip software?
Question: why do they hover the hose with the suction like that over the heater instead of just directly connecting it?
It’s my understanding that you don’t want to suck the heat out and only want to suck the fumes. So balancing act.

How do I get intouch with Near Han?
Yes that s would be nice.
Reach out to her on Alibaba.
How difficult was it to match up the printer with the proper software? Did it come from Audley?
Check out the video on my channel regarding maintop vs digital factory
