Honk For Jesus. Save Your Soul
Honk for Jesus. Save Your Soul. is a 2022 American mockumentary comedy film written, directed, and produced by Adamma Ebo, in her feature directorial debut, and is a feature-length adaptation of Ebo's 2018 short film of the same name. It stars Regina Hall and Sterling K. Brown as the first lady and the pastor of a megachurch, who attempt to reopen and rebuild their congregation, following a major scandal. Austin Crute, Nicole Beharie, and Conphidance also feature in supporting roles.
Proud first lady of a Southern Baptist megachurch, Trinitie Childs carries immense responsibility on her shoulders. After a scandal involving her husband, the church is forced to temporarily close, leaving Trinitie struggling to manage the aftermath. Now, she and her spouse must rebuild their congregation and reconcile their faith by all means necessary to make the biggest comeback that commodified religion has ever seen.

Listen Danielle you know the Word and the heart of God! I was clapping and agreeing with you the whole time!!
When I first saw the movie I truly didn’t get it but after listening to the podcast it clicks! Aside from being humorous I think the film highlighted the frailty of humans and the need for Jesus and how we can keep his goodness at bay if we are not authentic, vulnerable and surrendered. I thoroughly enjoyed this week’s episode!
This movie hits harder when you grew up in church
This movie has been on my watchlist for some time now. You guys have to check out/review American fiction. Dope film.
Please do a podcast on the movie Light It Up.

Good lawd! This woman is easy to stare at. Enjoyed the movie and the review, by the way.
I enjoyed this movie.
Isn’t this based on a true story?
It has elements of Bishop Eddie Long’s story
I appreciate the content and please keep it up... But.... Stop playing aground and dedicate a show for the greatest film of our generation... Malcolm X.... Enough is enough
