the crazy thing about the MJ model change is that both models were based off / made from the same woman, the fact she looks worse in spider-man 2 is the developer’s fault
It's just an issue with angle and shading, it's like a bad photo vs a good photo with the same subject. That and when crunched down to the thumbnail size it looks worse.

I really wish games had a "im not an idiot" difficulty/option so it doesn't throw me hints every 5 seconds after hours of gameplay. Especially from the characters around you
This is why I like Fromsoft games. I'd rather experience cock and ball torture then be condicend to by a computer.
Games typically have an option to turn off hints. Maybe in those hours you played you could've taken five seconds to go into the options menu

Well it didn't work for everyone on launch, people had it turned off and they would still see repeating tutorials.
This game was way more buggy than the first.

I noticed both Spider-man 2 and Gotham Knights have the same treatment of Sandman and Clayface. Broken up into many human sized versions due to a fight with the hero and they go feral in the streets so you gotta go stop them then they rejoin and regain their mind
The difference is that clayface is still a villain
I mean sand man didny go feral and lose his mind but sure characters with the same power set have similar game play
I think Spider-Man is so much more uninteresting when he’s surrounded by as many allies as you have in this game. I prefer the Spider-Man who is struggling to just barely get by.
It's by far the most interesting part of his character. The first game opened with him choosing to save people over getting evicted from his apartment, now he can just give miles a call and be fine.
I need my Spider-man to be alone, starving, no tech, ragged suit, poor, working four jobs, single mother, denied government benefits, missing fingers, with a chronic cough, 16 years old, cucked by Jameson's werewolf astronaut son, Paul's slave, alternate dimension dead kids, dog died, sun in his eyes, aunt's soul eaten by Mephisto, and club-footed.
also spider-man was a character defined by sharp one-liners and science-focused villains, both of which this game is severely lacking in
I feel the reverse for Batman. I like him more when he has a whole team of allies, like Robin and Oracle, but most movies make him work alone.
Especially when they keep adding useless clones of Spider-Man.

I played this game on the hardest difficulty and I'm pretty sure that's the only thing that compelled me to finish it. The story in the first game was good but had its share of issues, this one by comparison feels like they learned nothing from the complaints people had back then and just continued with the same exact shit. The combat is worse, the writing is worse, this one has even more sections where the game stops its momentum to force you to play as a regular person. It's a weird feeling to have when you enjoyed the experience of a game but you also wouldn't recommend it because it's emblematic of all the biggest problems in the industry. It's stuff like this that makes me yearn for more retro, old school games that put gameplay and the player experience first.

I was thinking about how I didn’t think it was a big deal that the story of what is happening doesn’t match how actually difficult the tutorial is. But then I was thinking of how the first fight of God of War 1 with the Hydra was still an actual fight, so maybe that would have been cooler.

Then they removed spider cube.. then they removed venom free roam glitch... then they released the game.... then they put the wrong flag in miles house..... then I found out they made new words for the Spanish language essentially butchering the language for...... some reason.....

I think he's giving the game a pretty fair chance, tbh. He acknowledges that the game has good aspects, but is annoyed at how often it sidelines those aspects to have walk n talks or bland, toothless cutscenes of everyone being very nice and progressive to each other.

Game was really easy. As a Spider-Man fan i loved the game but i can definitely understand why normal people wouldn't be to jazzed about it
My issue with it is that I love Miles Morales, even more than Peter, but it went out of its way to make me hate him. The majority of his missions are boring, patronizing setups for _teachable moments._ I've never really been bothered by what people call "woke" media, but this game beat me over the head so much I couldn't stand it.

I like this game... Which is bad because i REALLY liked the previous one, this one feels too dumbed down and somewhat pandering, like the game tries to set Miles to be THE insomniac Spider-Man but this version of Miles suck, he's just too dumb and naive, like literally, in his own game, when the villain that tried to literally nuke NY had a moment of clarity and realized that was a stupid plan sacrificed herself to stop said evil plan while Miles just looked... Not to mention he reveals his identity to EVERYONE he knows, that's just stupid, half of Harlem know who he is, by name and all, he's just the worse... Oh, and that whole "He's our Spider-Man" by the end of that game was so, so stupid, let's forget Pete saved the entire city of New York from super covid, nearly died and had his mother figure die because he chose to save EVERYONE in the city... Oh, but Miles, he saved one neigborhood from a problem he's partially responsible of... But he's also black

Couldn’t get through this one. 30 minutes in and I was bored as fuck and the Ubisoft collectable markers barfed all over the screen was such a turn off.

I liked the first game and did a lot of the side missions but i hated this one. I blitzed to the finish and uninstalled immediately. Why did they change everyones face? Why does the game have two spidermen on the cover and yet youre forced to play as mary jane for some of the coolest parts? It has the most boring, saccharine cast of characters I've seen in any game. Its nice to see someone shit on it without just saying woke a bunch.
I know Adum's use of the word "baby" in describing and criticizing games and media can be condescending, I still can understand his points though.
His points of why he isn't fully invested in certain section is delivered well so I don't know why the use of the word "baby" suddenly makes his criticism invalid
Probably a good example of why Adam’s Let’s Play channel has never really taken off is how no matter what game he’s playing, the first thing he does is refuse to interact with the game as intended and only attempts to do game breaking actions. It’s funny once or twice.
