- When Lauren Daigle was forced into solitude due to an illness, God started to work on her and show her things she needed for the future.

I love you for ministering life to all thru the Holy Spirit. I learned this truth when goining through treatment in 08 for terminal head cancer. A part of what the Lord taught me dealt with the fear of not knowing if I would live or die, and if I could endure the chemo and radiation that might not work anyway. The Lord intervened when I asked him if I were going to die, and He responded, "Don't ask Me that again. He said " I promise you a Tomorrow, and you will either awake in the morning here on earth or you will awake in My New Heaven." Not a moment of depression or fear, like your song 'I will Trust You Lord'. Blessings and Peace to you and your Team!

I went through an extreeme manic depressing time in my life that lasted around 6 months. The Lord brought me out of it and i know in my heart i will never go back there nut during that time i learned so much about the Lord and he was with me.

depression is like epilepsy. A sickness is different than a transition or temporary moment.
Agreed! Lauren is definitely not trying to undermine depression here. If anything, she's validating that it's a really thing that needs to be addressed. Thanks for watching and commenting!

Let's not start with the, "depression is just an illness that comes upon you for zero reason whatsoever", and then you shove pills at people.
People are depressed for a REASON. And pills alone don't fix that, until you start dealing with those REASONS.
The problem is everyone nowadays wants a quick fix. It's easier to swallow pills than it is to deal with the issues in your life.
