As Graspop Metal Meeting 2024 fades into memory, it’s time to reflect on one of the most extraordinary experiences of my life. From the performances to the near perfect organization, this year's festival was nothing short of awesome for us!
Graspop 2024 wasn't just a festival, It was me Ruby and our mates Aston , Bartek , Joe , Matthew , Samantha , and Jade creating memories.
These memories we create both on and off camera will resonate with us for life ya know? And I'm so glad you guys live through this with us too! reminding us why Graspop is a pilgrimage for Metalheads like us from around the world.

The floor worked pretty well ya know! It was soft enough to not kill you like concrete, but had decent drainage and stopped potential mif pit dust clouds.
I'm trying a few different transitions now I'm getting to grips with the new editing program, and that kind of feedback means so much bro! Because I have ZERO idea what I'm doing! 😂
& yeah the Aston thing!!! There was a 2 minute laughing break during that when we were all cracking up! It was such a great festival man, gutted it's over!

Ahhh hey mate!!! It was great to catch you there! I was gutted about A7X as unless you are right at the front the effects on the screen made it impossible to see anything further back. Bands like Tool or even the Prodigy can use that to their advantage, but we wanna see the action for A7X!! Take the effects off the screen, play a festival set list and I'd be all over it!!

They definitely spent thousands on that screen/ effects too! But unfortunately all they did was limit everyone's view! 😂 Nobody past 100 metres could see anything other than tons of effects and fades in and out of each camera transition.
Gutted! I used to Love them, but they need a re think here and could save a ton of cash & keep the fans happy by simply going back to basics. 😔
@billymayhem Honestly even up front they made it hard to see! They had these lasers between the stage and the crowd that just blocked us from even seeing them play. It's like they were in a box completely seperate from us

i got pick pocketed at limp when they played DL. first big band that night and some scumbag ended up with £150 of beer tokens 😞 just my wallet hanging off the chain i had to stop it getting lost or stolen..

We learn from mistakes and luckily my credit card wasn't taken but proper ruined the Friday! Still better than the year before when I got ejected from the site during lost prophets and snuck back in... 🤣
