Great video bro! I’ve been living there in Cabarete for about four years now and it was absolutely the best decision I could’ve ever made! if you’re contemplating making that move, I’d say jump and do it. you definitely showcased all sides of the town beautifully and with respect! Great place to live.
Appreciate that brother. I like Cabarete a lot, I don't see a lot of videos of it. That's why I showed it off! I'll be checking out a lot of towns in DR.
so where are you at in the evaluation? Sosua or Caberete?..... or someplace else? I'm trying to do pros/cons of those places and puerto plata. I went to las terrenas this past winter, but it's too far from airports that connect to the US. I can't be 3 hours from Santo Domingo or Puerto Plata.
I haven't announced yet where I will live. I've traveled to a lot of towns in DR. Sosua is definitely not a place I would/could live. It all depends on your lifestyle. Puerto Plata is small and laid back. Santo Domingo is big and crazy for me but a lot of foreigners live there. Las Terrenas is far from everything.
@@TravelWithMuhamed definitely interested in your decision. I'm married with 2 14 year old twins and i don't think sosua is the place for a family either. Your assessments seem to be similar to mine. Although I have no idea about Puerto Plata and am suprised to hear you say that it's "small" I'd like to hear more on the quality of the beach sand and swimmability of the water near puerto plata and caberete... or if there are any other locations (rio san juan and cabrera seem to have the same problem as las terrenas. I wouldn't go down there unless I could be on the coast near a nice beach.
@@TravelWithMuhamed also... it sounds like there's a massive "clean up" going on... probably due to the money being invested for things like project bergantin. So it's def worth keeping an eye on how things are changing.
I'm single but I'll be ready to start a family soon. Yes they are already cleaning the corners up during the night time action. They will be doing more. Not a place I want to start a family in or bring my family to. Its still a beautiful town but……..
San Juan is very small, mostly locals, I liked it there. I haven't made it to Cabrera yet but I heard there are expats there and that its a slower pace. I heard it's very nice. Puerto Plata did not have a lot of each access, it was rocky. Out of Puerto Plata, Sosua, and Cabarete, beach wise…………Cabarete hands down is better. The sand is nice and there are a lot of restaurants.
Congratulations, Your youtube channel video-making video editing and content ideas are very good. If you give me permission, I can suggest growing your UA-cam channel.
hopefully u found the local place by the Parking lot and across the street from where u started ur video much cheaper and more tasty than eating on the beach. Real Dominican food.
Did you like your time in Cabarete?
great video!! love Cabarete!
Thanks brother. I prefer Cabarete as well!
Cabarate is a beautiful place, especially its beach.
The beach is one of the best on the island in my opinion!
DR or Dominican Republic is proper, Nice video .
