- Newcastle to Marne la Vallée-Chessy, can this trip be done cheaper by any alternative routes?
If you’re prepared to do a bit of travelling yes it can - join me on a trip to Disneyland Paris that literally saved £100’s - Air France wanted to charge around £800 for a one way ticket to Paris from Newcastle.

Interesting routing! Funnily I was up in Newcastle a couple of weeks ago and used The Metro a lot. Met a friend at a pub opposite West Jesmond station!
I visited Newcastle for the first time recently. Lovely city and the station never fails to impress me as I’ve travelled through there by train several times before
Hi mate, thanks for watching - appreciated. Yes it is a lovely city, although I am a little bit biased
@@TheGeordieTravels the one thing that felt surreal to me was that I’ve never been to a Gregg’s outside of Scotland until then so going into one and having someone serve me with a Geordie accent and not Scottish felt surrel
I love Newcastle, I lived in Gateshead for a good few years, I used to go to the station loads then (I still do obviously), my grandad even had a flat thst overlooked Newcastle central so I saw lots of trains from the window, even some GNER ones before they closed
Hi mate, thanks for watching - appreacited. It is a wonderful city, of course i am being biased - it's a small city so everything is relatively close by.
A really different video, great to see how much money you saved. Top marks
Hi mate, thanks for watching - appreciated.
Fantastic
Well done, excellent and informative content. Thank you.
Hi mate, thanks for watching - appreciated.
I used to use the Eurostar to get to Disneyland Paris from London Waterloo when I was very young. And it was so amazing going on the train to Disneyland Paris. But I think that Eurostar are not going to stop at Chessy anymore which I don’t know why. 😢
Hi mate, thanks for watching - appreciated. Yeah they stopped the route 5 days before I travelled, hopefully it will return in the future.
Do a journey video from Penarth to Rhymney
Correction: The statue at St. Pancras is not by Tracey Emin. It is by Paul Day and is commonly known as "The Lovers Statue".
Hi mate, thanks for watching, yeah - complete balls up on my part - in know Paul Day did the statue, she did the neon sign above it - bad day at the office
@@TheGeordieTravels Nay bother!
Well done! I love economical journeys. Lovely shots of York station.
Thanks for watching - appreciated
Some proper stations and a well planned trip !
Hi mate, thanks for watching - appreciated
Well done, and Cheers to you ! What a splendid video. LUMO looked great, and EasyJet have to be the best of the low cost airlines here. The total cost was amazing, though the price for the Dart at Luton Airport seemed rather steep !
Hi mate, thanks for watching - appreciated. Yes, I was a little surprised at how expensive the DART is considering the bus service it replaced was free.
Sometimes when you put subtitles you replayed a bit of the video id just seen 😅. Despite this I enjoyed it overall 👍
Hi mate, thanks for watching - appreciated - Yeah I know, I just have to make sure that captions are on the screen long enough therefore I have to extend some.
I would have rather jumped on the Eurostar and then got the RER from Paris Gare du Nord.
I know it was probably more expensive, but alot less messing around and now damn airplanes.
Easyjet must be a horrible experience for a guy your size. Im 6' 1" and hate flying on budget airlines due to the horrible 30" seat pitch.
I would personally take a train anyday, even if its a far as Italy.
Hi mate, thanks for watching - yeah I agree with the easyJet experience, nit nice but just wanted to try something a wee bit different.
Another great video, but please can you tell me how far in advance you booked your travel tickets.
Hi mate, thanks for watching - appreciated, LUMO and easyJet were booked around 4 weeks in advance whilst EMR was on the day prior to travel and the DART was on the day.
@TheGeordieTravels Thanks for answering and keep up the good work 👍
I admire your enterprise. Had thought you might have taken a bus transfer CDG to Disney but smarter to take the TGV. Yes Eurostar has become something of a luxury way to reach mainland Europe. Yet originally (when launched in 1994 and managed in the UK by EPS) it was intended to be a train service with fares to suit all pockets.
Hi mate, thanks for watching - appreciated. Personally I would have done the bus from CDG but as both my wife and daughter are not keen travellers if I mentioned a bus I'd be getting a right hook.....
@@TheGeordieTravels Haha. I quite understand !
bro u only live 25 five min away from where i live ...
Hi mate, cheers for watching - we live in a very small world.
Apparently easyJet fly to Gotham Airport
I am from near Gotham in Nottinghamshire and I can tell you there is no airport there.
