Hi justa mannn. It's always good to see your name here. I hope you and Nova are listening under the stars or near a warm fire. Good night 🌃 and stay safe. From Ms. Harper Stacey 💜🥰.
Randy, where have you been? I missed you terribly. I hope you're doing well. Enjoy tonight's episode of mystery theater and welcome back. From Ms. Harper Stacey 💜.
@@harperstacey9604 Hello, Ms.Harper Stacey! I've missed you too! I've been traveling and catching up on some work, but I think I'm back on schedule now. Thanks for checking in, I appreciate it. Talk to you soon😘
@@scotth5237 I'm not sure about the garden center, but that is the exit off of I35! How's life in Wisconsin? You've probably had about the same amount of snow this year as we have. I'm ready for spring any day now😁
@@randy1576 more snow now, it might push us to the top 5 of all-time snow totals! Looking forward to playing golf on our Wednesday fun league. That seems a long way off
Sorry to be listening in so late, I had a prior commitment, listening from Southern Ontario, Canada, 43* N. 2:04 a.m., Tues., Mar, 21, 🇨🇦 and happy vernal equinox! Currently snowing, with winds that make it -11* C. Translation : freakin cold, so wool socks for my cold tootsies again.🥶🥶 Maybe this will warm up everyone: Fish Pie: Cut salmon and whitefish into not too small pieces and place in a good size saucepan. Add in milk, with chopped fresh thyme, and 2-3 bay leaves. Add some finely chopped green onions (reserving some to sprinkle onto nearly cooked dish).Add finely chopped leeks, some finely cut celery, a bit of garlic powder and onion powder. You may also add some finely chopped carrots. Cook all this on low til carrots nearly tender. Set this aside til later. DO NOT DISCARD LIQUID. Then make a roux in a separate pan, using equal amounts of butter and flour, adding whatever is necessary of leftover liquid to add to the roux, and mix well while it thickens. When thickened, remove from heat, and can pour into greased serving dish, and keep warm in low oven. While that is cooking, I make homemade biscuits (with cream and self-rising flour). My secret ingredient in making the roux is to add about a tab. or two of liquid chicken bouillon, or left over chicken gravy I have on hand in freezer. I make whenever I roast chicken breasts. Hope all are safe and snug as a bug. Blessings to all! ❤🇨🇦🥰 P.S. eggs are CA $ 8.00/12 and chicken just went up to CA$ 19.99/kg. So I am making casserole type dishes that stretch further. Please stay safe all! P.S. you can stretch the dish further by adding cooked green peas.
@@andrewtrammell1813 Thank you, you’re sweet to say so! I enjoy cooking, it evokes such warm happy memories of a loving multi-generational family. With ever increasing food prices, I’m grateful I can cook. Currently, chicken is now $21.99/kg (breast), and it pleases me to know I can make a little go a long way - and many people today don’t need to eat such large amounts of food. Just a few simple, fresh ingredients, tossed together with a sprinkle of love, for whomever you are cooking for - even oneself! I’m lucky I had a grandmother, and her sister, in my life. My mother was the youngest of ten, and I’m the oldest of eight. I guess that says it all. ( sorry, I didn’t mean to ramble on). Thank you for taking a moment to let me know - just that made it worth writing about the recipe.🥰
Here we are on ish/20/23, "back at the same Edge time, on the same Edge channel" as all over planet earth, from the north pole to the south, from the east to the west, we are all of us in harmony pulling a 12/12 shift as the Spring Equinox enjoys that rotational celestial balance 'twinxt night and day everywhere. From N'west WI to Kodiak Island, from London to Australia, from Topeka to Timbuktu....it happens but twice a year and Mr Nightfall is here keeping the rhythm with these wonderful OTR broadcasts. G'nite all and may the balance be with you.
I love CBSRMT and this episode was great. But Hugh's dialogue? I mean, he sounded like a '50's beatnik. Even in 1977, or whenever this aired, Hugh's dialogue was hopelessly out of date and out of touch. I wonder how '70s listeners perceived it.
