That's so pretty! I have watched a lot of crochet videos but this is the first video of yours I have watched and I learned so much! You showed the work really well and close up and gave a well rounded explanation of the why's and how's! Thank you for sharing this video with us!
Thank you for this tutorial lovely pattern. I watched your video till the end nice & easy pattern. Excellent teacher. Can't wait to make one for myself. Greetings from South Africa
I just found you and I am in love with your patterns. Such interesting pattern stitch. This pattern will be lacy without being see through. I think I will whip up one for the roomie, she is slender like you. Keep up the good work!
Hi Tamara. I'm so happy you found my channel! Thank you so much for the kind words. Thank you for watching and commenting. Hopefully you subscribed. :)
Pretty top. As a larger woman I'm not secure wearing crochet tops. I'm glad u are enjoying ur business. I'm retired and don't want to work at any thing. Stay happy and twirling that hook. Reta
Thank you so much for this. I apologize for the late reply, I just found your comment today. I actually found a bunch of comments across the channel that I wasn't notified of. So sorry!
@@CrazyCoolCrochet No worries, Sylvia. I find stray messages from folks all of the time. You are really knocking it out of the park. You inspire me to keep moving forward on this journey.
I love this sweater ❤️👏easy and really pretty 😊my kind of project 😂🤣I have so many of your designs I want to make 😫I can’t keep up🤣😂😂🤣all your patterns are beautiful and easy ❤️ 👏👏👏👍🏼❤️
Hello Sylvia. Just came across your channel this past weekend and made your pocket shawl. I am a beginner and found your instructions clear and very precise. I have a question regarding this summer top. I was wondering if instead of doing single stitches is there anyway to make it with either half double crochet or double crochet?? If so what would the turning chains be and would the foundation chain count still be the same?? Thank you in advance.
Hi Elsa. I'm so glad you found my channel and that you find it helpful. Be sure to subscribe so you don't miss any new designs. As for your questions, while you CAN change out the sc's for hdc or dc, I do NOT recommend this. If you change from sc's the entire top will become VERY open weave due to the rows with the skipped st's and ch's. Even if you don't mind wearing something underneath, the sizing will be completely off. The top will become much larger. I would need to create an entirely different pattern to give you proper counts. For a beginner I would say stick with the pattern as designed. After you become more experienced you can experiment with changing out stitches. I hope this helps!
@@CrazyCoolCrochet Thank you so much for your response and look forward to making this top. Last question I promise:) What would the chain count be if I want to make a 2XL? Thanks again and I have already subscribed. I appreciate all you do for us beginners!
@@elsavillalpando4396 Thank you for subscribing! The sizing detail is in the description area below the video. I do tell you how to open that up at the beginning of the video. It states to use a multiple of 2 plus 1. Making the foundation chain longer adds length. For 2X I would go with 187. To add width you need to add one set of the 3 sc rows and 4 chain rows per ea size larger. Try adding 4 -5 additional sets per panel.
@@CrazyCoolCrochet thank you for your response. Can I use a 50% Bamboo and 50% cotton yarn, instead of 100% cotton? Sorry, I broke my promise of no more questions:)
I don't know how to reach u other than through a video. Sure this is a goofy request. I need dish clothes and face clothes. Could you whip something not to difficult for me? Thank you.
Hi Reta. Not at all a goofy request! I do appreciate you reaching out to me about this, but at this time, dish cloths and face cloths are not planned projects. I'll keep it in mind for future ideas though. Thanks!
