Lubricate is the word. Put some oil on the blade where the liner lock sits, put some oil on the washers, pivot, blade stop and detent channel on the blade. That's what I did. Improved the knife tremendously.
the specific blade shape is called "osoraku zukuri" its one of my favorite blade shapes from feudal japan osoraku means "perhaps" it was engraved on the blade that had this style of tip, and is to my knowledge a rare blade shape in old swords and blades
this blade looks amazing i really want to get one of the CRKT knives with the field strip technology. The next knife i buy might have to be the Goken it looks so bad ass.
I think with this blade as well as most others, you are paying a bit more because of the designer. Look at Ken onions blades. I love kens blades, BUT they tend to be on the higher side. I can see what mr Williams was doing with this blade. He made it more of a niche blade than a usual edc folder. Granted I don’t carry it often, but it is in my rotation. Thank you for watching
It wasn't made for much else besides defensive use. James Williams claims to make it for soldiers to use, but there are much better options. It's a niche blade.

Nice chillaxing vid Thx !
Most welcome brother
How about the liner lock .... looks like a small strip is holding the knife open , is it strong ? Like for stabbing , will it hold well ?
I can say 💯💯💯💯💯 that I have had zero issues with this blade 👍💯
@@Tctbnl thanks for reply. One more thing, between crkt m16 03 and goken, which one do you suggest for self defense edc ?
Goken
seems like it will be hard to use ice pick grip on this one.
Not so much brother

Hows the lock up on this knife?
No issues what so ever
@@Tctbnl thanks been trying to decide which one I like more and settled on this one, I heard it has lock up issues so I was a little worried
looked like something was missing
Like?
a bottle opener? lmao
The flipper action on this blade is crap considering the amount of money they're asking for it
Agreed 100%
Too much money for a poorly made knife
