Buckle up: 100 degrees is here until next Tuesday

High pressure has taken over and only hot and dry conditions expected from now until next Tuesday. As the high pressure settles in, winds will subside but there is the potential for overlap with brief gusty winds. Temperatures at or above 100-degrees are likely for all inland areas. Temperatures this hot are not out of the question for Oregon, but a little ahead of schedule. Regardless, the heat will likely take a notch back for next week with temperatures starting to drop as soon as next Tuesday.
