March 4th, 2019 a new group by the name of Tomorrow By Together or TXT made their debut with the mini album “The Dream Chapter: Star”. Fast forward 5 years to March 31st, 2024 and their incredibly successful release of the hit single “Deja Vu”. Lets check it out.

To clarify, TxT has always been 5 since the beginning, these are still the original members.

no they are an actual group. they arent a cast and they dont age out or change. they have always been a group from the very beginning and are closer than family according to the members.
TXT has always had 5 members: Soobin, (leader), Yeonjun, Beomgyu, Taehyun and HueningKai and there has never been a change of members!
TXT is known for having the most crazy Kpop storytelling concepts! Telling the story of a friendship between 5 boys who are growing up, accepting themselves, examining their friendships, and navigating promises and betrayals. They go through a series of confusing events, from growing fantasy body parts to visiting a magic island and revisiting memories. The entire story of TXT is about coming of age, but it goes through the world of fantasy, When they were young they made a promise to a star that they would be together forever. However they ended up separating and the star fell asleep. As they grew older, they started growing pains and fears that manifested onto their body like horns, pointy ears, spikes, odd eyes and wings. Have they become monsters? They wondered. The boys met again, but they didn't remember anything not even each other, why they met and what they had to do. As they reunited, they began to grow a friendship once again, playing and laughing with each other. They created the magic once again and started playing with it as they pleased. Reversing time, freezing the magical moments they created with their imagination. But dealing with something they don't know well, ended up messing with their reality, as the magical world they created started getting mixed with the reality and soon falling into chaos. Their friendship started falling apart as jealousy, distrust and death got on their way. They started fighting and they didn't know who to trust, what to remember and if they could be saved. A greater power out of their magical world is now flying in the sky (the dragon). It starts attacking them, destroying their friendship, their dreams and their world. Trying to save everyone and their friendship, they make a deal with an odd eye cat, but that power came with a price that they would suffer to pay. Now, as their monstrous side are surfing and chaos is taking over their lives, they must remember a name, a name that needs to be called, a true name that might help them. They must also remember a song, the song of the star, that once they sing it together they can save their friendship. Of course, this is all a metaphor for growing up and facing the reality of adulthood.
In the “Sugar Rush Ride” music video that included Neverland - the fictional island in Peter Pan associated with eternal childhood - to show how the boys temporarily gave in to their temptations before “they thrust it away.” “Sugar Rush Ride” is specifically about “a boy who falls to the sweet temptations of a devil.” In their song’s refrain, they sing about being swept away in a fantasy by a devil, who promises to fulfill their greatest desire: Freedom. During the pre-chorus, TXT says they can’t help but give in to the devil. After failing to resist, TXT ends the song by realizing they’ve been played by the devil. Of course, this is all a metaphor for growing up since the song is about facing the reality of adulthood.
In the"Chasing that feeling" MV they leave paradise and fall into reality which is what their latest album is about, (the name chapter Freefall). And each song portrays phases of their confrontation with this new reality.
They also have a webtoon "The star seekers". The story of the webtoon is tied with the lore of the mvs, but not completely the same, if it makes sense. There are definitely a lot of same elements, but while in the webtoon they are used to tell the fictional story about five fictional characters, in the MVs they're used to tell the story about five real boys growing up. In the MV Deja vu there are many references to their webnovel The Star Seekers.
They create one big story about five boys who are growing up, accepting themselves, examining their friendships, and navigating promises and betrayals. Just like the puma in the song is both a victim and a monster (since it's trapped in a cage, but letting it out of that same cage might be dangerous), TXT's characters are both angels and devils. Of course, this is all a metaphor for growing up and facing the reality of adulthood.
The last part with the acoustic is actually a little snippit of their rock version of the song Deja Vu.

TXT have never changed any of the members
I think you're having kpop (Korean) and jpop (Japanese) scenes mixed up in terms of how the groups work. I'm not very familiar with jpop, but I wouldn't say it's really common in kpop to use graduation system where you have new and new waves of young members in a group. They're some kpop groups like that, but most of them stay together as long as possible and rather than switching the members they would just disband. But yeah, a lot of groups are consistent and keep it going even after a long time being active.
Thanks for reacting! They're original 5 members only group under Bighit music (same with bts if you're familiar with them). Their songs are very much different than kpop trends everytime they make comeback!
You might want to hear their song 20cm and Skipping stones as it's focused more on their vocals~
I don't know if you're mixing TXT with another k-pop group, but TXT has always been a fixed group where the members have not changed and will not be changing in the future. They're what you described as a "group that stays together" (I mean they're not called Tomorrow by TOGETHER for no reason 🤭)
Thanks for checking them out. However I am confused where the cast thing and changing members came from. They have always been 5 and no members were changed from the beginning til now. Maybe you're confusing them with some other group?

TXT dont change members, they're the original members and they're 5 since debut and pre debut, i hope that help, thank you for checking them out tho

The group that you're probably talking about is NCT. Txt has been a permanent group and will always be permanent group
I believe you looked up the completely wrong group when doing your research. TXT has always been and will always be Soobin, Yeonjun, Beomgyu, Taehyun, Hueningkai.
In the future please double check your source material if you want to give a synopsis of a group.
