I've been searching for a lawnmower without perimeter wires for ages, and finally stumbled upon the Segway Navimow robotic lawnmower. It's a game changer! The convenience and efficiency it offers compared to other brands is truly remarkable. Highly recommend giving it a try, you won't be disappointed!
Yeah I’m loving my Automower. The only downside is that none of these robot mowers can mulch leaves. The problem is the blades fold in when hitting the leaves so I’m experimenting with solutions to get the blades stationary since I don’t have kids and I keep my yard clutter free. I use to have a robomow back in the day before they were bought by mtd and became junk. They used fixed steel blades like a traditional mower and it mulched. It was awesome. Unfortunately back in 2018 they had no smarts in the mower it was Bluetooth only and random pattern with boundary wire.
@@anthonyt9371 yes it’s a phenomenal mower. The only improvement it could have is better leaf mulching and or some way to collect leaves. But overall it’s the best mower I’ve ever had.
@@anthonyt9371 it’s still worth it because your lawn always looks immaculately cut and can have fancy striped patterns. It’s also healthier for your lawn cuz it cuts little bits at a time feeding the clippings back to the lawn. It’s also very quiet
@@anthonyt9371 if your lawn is free of large debris like tree branches, toys etc and doesn’t have any ditches to get stuck in (holes) then no it’s rare. As long as you have a fairly smooth lawn it wont get stuck.
Yea I have heard many people do. Just make sure the reference station is placed on the side of your house your neighbor is on and that the 2 properties combined are not to big.
For me I am waiting for the release of a mower that does not need RTK as I understand if you have trees you can lose the signal and position. There are some coming this year that have vision guidance so the importance of the RTK signal is not needed.
So far I have had zero problems. My only complaint would be that driving it precisely along the edge to define the boundary isn’t easy. The controls are too touchy. However once it’s set up it’s fantastic and still way faster and less physical labor to set up than the wire version and if you need to change the boundary it’s way easier too. The wire version not so much. Maybe I should do a end of season update video?

The epos version is fully wireless like the one in this video. The non epos edition requires a boundary wire to be installed around the edge of your lawn. I can say with experience the wired version. Sucks. The wire will break and when it does repair is a nightmare or $$$ to hire someone. Totally get the wireless epos version. It’s been a game changer.

Good to know about the install. Do you think you could do a neighbours property with it as well? My goal to offset the cost

Never had problems with rtk and I have many trees on my property
How is it working so far?

Nice. I'm looking at one for approx 3 acres of cleared forest area. Fingers crossed it works well. 🤞
An updated video would be great!
Just wondering where you got the dog house. Have a link? Thx

The more expensive one cuts taller grass.
