Thank you soo much. I get this sensation once In a while and just ignore it even dough it's a pain & usually goes away in 5 to 6 hrs. Today I woke up and wasn't going away, it's really irritating so I search and found your video. I put an ice pack on my eye and in less than 5 minutes the irritation is almost gone. Thank you sir! 😊

Mine was due to wearing my contacts too long. So I slept with a cold towel on the affected eye and I felt better in the morning. Never want that again

My eyes keep watering all the time it has been happening all the time. Its a anxiety thing where if I look at people my eyes just start watering up and I just want to close them, its sorta turned me into a alcoholic because I don't get this sensation when I'm drunk.

Thank-you. I've been dealing with this for a long time. The cold compress helped immediately.

I desperately need help. Been dealing with symptoms for 8 years. There is no pain. It just feels like there’s something behind my top eyelid. It just feels like the veins or muscles in my left eye are full. It is absolutely maddening. The only time I feel relief is when I drink or when I’m too busy to think about it. I’ve seen so many eye doctors over it and zero answers. Hot compresses do nothing. It makes no sense that it’s only my left eye, because the doctors said moisture levels are the same. Does anyone else experience this?? Eye drop don’t help either.

Nathan Bailey hi, am experiencing the same thing. It’s also in my left eye, I know for a fact that there is nothing there, but my top eyelid in my left eye feels like something is poking at it and it’s very uncomfortable. I’ve also seen one doctor and he told me he doesn’t know what’s going on and there is nothing to worry about. The sensation comes and goes for me. How is this sensation to you? Does it go away sometimes?

Taiwo shogbanmu It does go away occasionally. You? I’ve had it since 2011-2012

Nathan Bailey I’ve had mine for about 6 years now and I think I have an idea what’s going on there. If you look at the anatomy of the eye, the sensation we are both experiencing is at the part of the eyelid that is towards the ear, this is also where the lacrimal gland is located. My thoughts are we have some kind of inflammation of the lacrimal gland which makes us feel it more at the upper eyelid. You will notice if your pinky finger is small enough for you to fit in there, you will notice you can feel what is causing the sensation and it’s a part of your upper eyelid. When you google lacrimal gland, you will notice the location is exactly where you have the sensation. It also makes sense why anti inflammatory eye drops kinda works temporarily.

I've recently started having these eye irritations. At first I thought there was an eyelash or something behind my eyelid by but after washing my eye for about 2 hours I typed up my symptoms and found FBS (Foreign Body Sensation). I'm hoping it's not this and that my eye will heal on its own but I'm not sure. If it continues to irritate me I'm going to go to the doctors or hospital and get it checked out.

Teopae try some eye drops and if it doesn’t work, you should definitely go see the doctor if you can afford to.

How about menthol sensation? Feels like the is cool mint in my eyes and it is driving me crazy

i found the solution, i had the problem for over a week and it drove me crazy when all the methods i tried didnt work... the solution is simply get a bottle of water filled to the tip, stick it to your eye opened, if possible try to flip your top eye lip with the bottle and flush the water into the eyes by pressing and releasing the bottle continuously. makes sure the water gets under your eye lid with pressure.
2nd solution: pull your top eye lid with your 2 fingers and make sure they is a space in-between your eye lid and eye, flash it with cold water with a plastic syringe, enema or shower handle. it feels a bit painful and uncomfortable but no pain no gain.
Get some sleep and you will wake up with mucus on the eyes. 🤩

I have had the feeling of something being in both of my eyes for about 6 months now, and it’s ruining my life. I’m at a young age (13) and don’t know how to handle this. I’ve rubbed my eyes to where they are red and burning. Does anyone suffer from this as well?

@@rajatnaudiyal307 So I’ve been to the doctor a few times, and they’ve told me a couple things it could be. #1: Apparently I had bumps in my eyes, and that could be what was causing the feeling. #2: Dry eyes. I take a couple different eye drops every day, and they do seem to help it. If you haven’t already, I would schedule a doctors appointment, and let the professionals tell you what’s going on, and help you
