- In today's video, we get off of the Royal Caribbean Voyager of the Seas for a day in Cozumel, Mexico. We decided to book the VIP Dolphin Swim with Dolphinaris through the Royal Caribbean Excursion desk, and we're taking you along for the adventure. They didn't allow cameras in the water, but we'll take a look at the entire facility, show you our photos with the dolphins, and let you know if this is something you might be interested in trying on your next cruise!

Great video. Thanks! When did you go? We are booked for a January cruise and I’m worried that it’s going to be a bit chilly. Also, did you interact with the manatees as a part of the tour? I didn’t see it so I booked a second tour with manatees at Chankanaab park at 1 PM. Our dolphin time is 1030. How long did your whole Dolphin excursion take with lunch? Thank you in advance for your help!
This was the summer - but we did a Christmas cruise a few years ago through Cozumel and we went to Chankanaab for that one and went swimming and it was fine. Slight chill but something you got used too.
That said - your times might be too close together. These two parks are a decent distance from each other, so if your excursion started right on time and lasted an hour, youre at 1130, which gives you an hour to dry off, eat, and call a cab and get up there. I want to say that we were there for about 4 hours total, but we also snorkled there too.

Did you have any issues getting your photos?? We went on Norweigan Prima and paid for photos but still have not received them 😢
We picked up the photos the day we were there. We only bought a print and not digital. Sorry you're having issues!
Was the taxi ride included in the Royal Caribbean excursion price?
It was! We met at the sign right at the end of the pier and we were with a guide the rest of the time - roundtrip shuttle included.

Also you may not have an answer for this, but I’m pregnant, my husband wants to go though. Can I buy an observer ticket when I get there since it’s not an option on the rc website? And any idea of the price of it?
That's a great question and I'm not sure. I think he would need a wristband beforehand to ensure he was included in the shuttle. I would call Royal.

😂 i always thought I would hate cruising, but it's becoming one of my favorite things to do - and cruises out of Galveston are cheap right now!
