You are so right that the cooling spots are NOT cold enough to work in hot weather. I bought this cooling neck fan and would have LOVED it but the cooling plates MUST get down to 40-45 degrees to make any difference in hot 90 degree plus weather.
Way too expensive and I wasn't convinced on the results. Comments here show that I was smart to explore other options. I just received my favorite neck fan last week which is the TFNN 9000mah 2024 featuring 4 air outlets. Had a percentage display so you know how charged it is and it combines 2 neck fan designs in one unit. Has the fan vents that blow straight up like many of them do. But also has 2 attachments that you can angle to blow straight at your face. They are detachable and can also be used as USB fans at your work desk or with a portable power bank. You have two different speed settings for the neck vents and the detachable vents. Battery is over twice as much capacity as most other neck fans to compensate that you are getting double the fan power. Now this one is $40 at its highest retail price but it is not going to blow cold air. So I just ordered 2 of these $10 HAKT cooling tubes that you actually throw in the freezer or fridge before you put it on. Cheap enough to order 2 so that I could always have one in the fridge while wearing the other one. So for less than $60 those 2 products should work together and be far more effective than this $200 unit.
I bought this same neck cooling fan and tried it out for a week. Great concept but it DID NOT cool me off very much in outdoor temps of 90 degree plus temps! The lowest cooling temp setting of 61 degrees is NOT cold enough to make ANY difference at all. It would be a game changer if the cooling plates got down to 45 degrees. Works great if you are indoors like you are in your video but it does NOT get near cold enough to make ANY difference if you are in the summer heat!!!! Dude, 61 degrees is NOT very cold in an outdoor setting but 45 degrees would be awesome. I'd pay $500.00 if this neck cooler would cool at 40 to 45 degrees!!!!! Quickly returned it for my refund. I will wait till someone actually makes one that gets cold enough to make a REAL difference! INCREDIBLE product if only the cooling plates would get COLD.
I bought this product after watching misleading video's like this. It only cools your neck and not even ice cold as described. It's top quality though but Ranvoo should work on it's performance.I paid £180 for a useless product. I had to return it and get my money back.
Same a week ago, now this model is shipping to me, can’t wait!
It seems to me that the air & the cooling spots will need to be a lot colder to work in hot weather. Can’t wait to see your follow up✌🏻🤞

nice sharing!
better than the Coolify 2S?
I didn’t even knew Neck fans were a thing lol
Yes. They are a godsend for summers. You should definitely get one!
Ever since I discovered them, we don't do any outdoor activity without one anymore. 😞
