From a writing standpoint they call it a "self insert" it's where you're using the protagonist/antagonist character as a means to project parts of your actual self into the material you're writing Mariko Tamaki was guilty of this in her graphic novel "I Am Not Starfire", I think Maines is a better writer than Tamaki but it's possible Dreamer brought Superboy into her dreams and they had a whole relationship that Superboy only remembers when he's dreaming

Not gonna lie, I dislike any and all content related to Jon Kent, his character has become so unbelievably bland, uninteresting and boring, and I care nothing for anything that happens to him, even when he was able to break free of Brainiac Queen's control and hugged his father, I felt nothing.

I don’t get dreamer and Jon romance it makes no sense and feels fan fiction in my opinion

Jon and Jay Nakamura must have broken up. Nicole Maines played Dreamer in the live-action Supergirl series.

Batman hated Jay from the jump.

What's worse fan fiction is Johnny Storm falling in love and sleeping with a centipede alien in Fantastic Four.

@@leonardpigg6441 I think that thing is probably taken out of context but that’s just my opinion
