I’m definitely finding the bots *everywhere* as well. It’s getting insane. I find them on pretty much every channel/content creator I watch, and as you said, almost all of the icons are of pictures of the creators themselves. I really hope at some point that UA-cam can find a way to reduce and/or rid them altogether. It’s getting utterly irritating and frankly ridiculous.

Finally! You tried the Seche Vite Fast Dry Top Coat! I’ve been trying to get you to use it since last fall when you first started wearing the orange nail polish! Everyone always asks if I’m wearing gel polish, it stays hard and shiny for over a week. The BEST stuff! Tip: Always apply to your color coat when it is still tacky. If you apply over dry polish, it will peel back off.

Dr Dray, I am such a huge fan of your vlogs. I love watching someone who is so down to earth show us a day in their life. It's so raw and natural. I and probably a lot of other people feel as if we are there with you and we are buddies going to costco together and painting our nails together. Your UA-cam channel is a wonderful community to be a part of!
I adore your trips in the car. Seeing the neighbourhoods you pass through. Like I'm living in Houston, vicariously, through you. Some of the houses you pass, the tree lined streets, it's a lovely little insight. You know sometimes when you are taking a stroll at dusk, and some people still have the curtains open, with the lights on as they prepare for dinner or go about their business and you happen to see in ( not in the stalkery way ) and it's like you were given a glimpse into a whole new world - that's the feeling I get sometimes when you are off to run some errands.
I love watching the French press slowly move downward, and I love that you always include it in your vlogs 😄
I’m the same exact way with exposed toes without polish! Fingernails are fine to be bare but not the toes! I’m glad toe polish lasts longer.
I LOVE Zoya nail polish and remover. They last so much longer than my other brands and go on so smooth. Zoya has some great online sales as well. ❤️💅🏼

I'm the same with hating when my toenails are exposed and aren't painted! I wouldn't go as far as to say I have a phobia, but I've actually had a strong repulsion to dirty feet ever since childhood. My kid brain associated unkempt toenails with dirty feet and I've never been able to break that association, so I always feel extremely self conscious if anyone sees my feet without my nails done.
Awww Dr. Dray doing a little nail tutorial. You’ll want to get cuticle oil. Put it on frequently even if you don’t have product on your nails.
I totally agree with organic carrots 🥕…totally worth it!
Just a tip, buy the OPI primer as a base coat. It gives your polish something to adhere to. Base coat/ top coat dual purposes don’t work because it is glossy. Starting with a true primer will make your polish last for weeks if you add a top coat to seal it every 3 days or so

OPI and China Glaze are my favorite brands of nail polish. That's a pretty color for summer. I only have cheaper brands right now, but they never really hold up the same.

Best topcoat ever💅 Seche Vite!
Do not try to thin this clear top coat with fingernail polish thinner, it will be cloudy. Seche Vite sells a thinner product, lasts a long time and your topcoat will last longer in the bottle, does not get thick.

I bought the strawberry Orgain this weekend and love it! I was so excited to see it. I love chocolate, but as I kid I loved the strawberry Nesquick more then the chocolate one. I throw about 6 frozen strawberries in the Vitamix with the orgain and some almond milk, and yum. It’s a limited edition so get it while you can!

Late to the party again… but I will never forget the time I sliced open the bottom of my foot from the thick calloused side of my heel to my arch in a U-shape. It was horrifying. Tons of stitches. One of my sorority sisters diligently helped me keep it clean… twice a day with hydrogen peroxide and fresh bandages. I’m sure you can imagine that long, painful process that was. Thanks for taking us with you today! ❤

Hey Dr Dray! 👋🏽 Could you share your French press recipe please! I’m seeing 3 scoops of coffee - but how much water and steep time? I’m new to this method and would like to give it a whirl!!! I love my morning coffee too! ☕️ Thaaanks!!!
Try Out The Door top coat!!!! Better than Seche-- and I’ve been polishing my nails for 45 years. Cheaper and better, seals like acrylic. Lasts a week or more.
I highly rec UNT peel off base coat for glittery polish or super pure glitter polish. You only need a TINY strip of it more in the center of your nail, none near the edges. It will literally pop off your polish like a little turtle shell with it lol, saves you from having to scrub and drench your nails in acetone. But it can work too well and make your polish just slip off lol, so be very conservative with it. You can get it from Amazon. Had mine for a few years now and makes wearing thick glittery polish easy.
Soylent Green is one of my favorite movies. Loved Charlton Heston in it. Lol that there's a nail polish with that name. I like having polish on my toenails too when I wear sandals. I need to try the top coat. Your toenails look pretty! I'm The next time I get to Trader Joe's, I'm going to look for the sunscreen. After reading all the positive comments, I feel like I'm missing out. With my luck, it will probably be sold out by the time I get there. That's the drawback of living in a rural area. I found a band new Bodum French press at Goodwill for 5.00. No quite as fancy as yours.
Well done Nikki! I have never paid retail price for my Bodum French presses...always snapping them up at charity stores. I have a Bodum museum, all different sizes/colours. Always look out for Bodum French presses when you visit Goodwill etc., then you will always have spares in case you crack the glass. To prevent this from happening, use something like a chopstick to stir the coffee rather than anything metal. Also don't swish it too close under the faucet spout to rinse it, as it can crack the glass. To minimise cleaning and rinsing time, I wipe out the inside of the glass with paper towel to easily remove the stubborn coffee residue that tends to cling to the inside of the glass. I am yet to find the Bodum plastic stirring spoons in a charity store though.

I’ve been using Opi products on my toes for years and love them-the hardest part is picking a color because of the great variety. On my fingernails my new favorite polish is Londontown. This is a gel like product without the lamp. It lasts minimum of a week-longer if you are not out there gardening 🙃. Also like a polish remover correcting pen to help your home mani/pedi look more professional.
Enjoy your VLOGS. Going to Trader Joe’s to try the sunscreen. I have purchased their stick sunscreen for quick touch ups during the day to keep in my purse.
I have a touch up pen too. Can’t be without it ! 😊
You should use glass nail files. You can buff easily with it and it won't hurt your nail.

YES! I use to hate carrots. I didn’t like the taste. Then one time I accidentally bought the organic bag and I never went back. I can actually eat carrots alone without any salad dressing or anything. I thought I was the only one. Lol

@@manfredfails7485 Yes it's for the face..although you can absolutely use it anywhere on your body. It's clear so no white cast.. It has a very silicony feel at first when you're applying it but it does dry down very nicely.. It's an amazing product! I really hope they don't stop production of it..
I find Seche Vite "shrinks" but love Out the Door even more, since it's the same minus the shrinkage!

OPI has a version of the Nail Envy without formaldehyde. Just have to read the box or online sales listing carefully! Amazon carries both.

Some folks make an entire pot with the amount of coffee you drop into that press. I love it; thought I was the only one.
Haven't tried the opi base coat but my holy grail is the eveline cosmetics nail cement base coat OMG it's truly magic my polish doesn't chip AT ALL and it's only $6.99 on amazon
Dr. Dray pro tip, begin with your pinkie toes and work upward. It keeps the mess from happening.
I’m one of those people who can’t wear sandals etc if my toes aren’t painted! I’ll go without makeup too but if my toes are exposed they need to be polished!
My fav polish is Orly. I used to love Essie, OPI and China glaze, sally hansen… I don’t like the shape of the SH bottles, I’m tired of opi basically releasing the same colors over and over again, Essie’s polishes turn my nails yellow (yes even w base coat), and China glaze polishes get gunky and thicken fairly quickly. I feel like zoyas need like 3-4 coats and chip easily on me. I’ve tried mannny other brands over the years but the ones above are the most popular
I feel the same way about having my toenails polished if they are exposed. Like you, I don't care about my fingernails being polished or makeup.
I grabbed 4 bottles of the TJ sunscreen. I haven’t tried it yet but my 6 year old did and told me it doesn’t feel like he has anything on! Win!

The Cetaphil in the tub is one of my fav creams to use along with Tretinoin. I wasn't able to use the previous formula but this one is amazing for me.
Yes, the new formula in the tub is soooo much better and more moisturizing. I love it, I can now use it on my face and hands without drying me out. Costco has it on sale online 2-20oz jars $14.99 😁
I have been using Orgain for almost a decade. It is fantastic. Way better than vegasport.

I wanted to upgrade my kitchen in an area where older people live with the aim of selling eventually, and I heard that the bar hardware is a bit of a hazard for them, so I went with a square handle instead.
We did a reno on our kitchen 8 years ago and replaced all the cabinet hardware with the long, bar-shaped pulls. Then last year I had a leg injury and underwent back surgery. Rehab was a lot of regaining my balance & strength. I kept getting my robe sleeves caught on those stupid cabinet pulls! It was kind of scary for a while. You made a wise choice with your hardware. :)

We just upgraded our kitchen and went with the bar pulls. So far I haven’t had any issue, but several of the door knobs in our house are handle style instead of a round knob and I’m always catching my close on them. We have gradually been replacing them. You made a wise choice. Didn’t even think of our drawer bars being an issue. Hopefully they won’t.

I drink Soylent when my doctor recommends a liquid diet for a few days to relieve my IBD flare up - liquids only for 2 days gives my gut a rest.
Boost and Ensure have dairy, so I’m relieved to have a non-dairy option. :)

I love Soylent in Strawberry- it tastes like a strawberry milkshake ( I have not eaten dairy in over 10 years). Orgain is delicious too. Just picked up the chocolate ready made shakes from Costco and I had a banana or berries and blend it. You can even add instant coffee to the chocolate Orgain and make a mocha drink😋
Dr. Dray you should try the OPI Nature Strong Vegan nail polish! With a base coat, 2 coats of polish and a topcoat I got over 2 weeks of wear! I even did garden work with it! We moved some rocks around. The first time in a long time I had grow out near the cuticle. Another rec is the up n up nail polish remover in the jar to remove sparkly nail polish. It has bristles which easily scrub the sparkles or glitter off.
That’s so odd, it didn’t work for me like their regular polish. Started chipping off after two days.

I'm so excited to see you using seche vite! I have the nail envy but I forget to use it. I too cannot stand to have naked toenails. it began when I was young and dancing, too. it's when I became aware that my feet can look so ugly without polish to cover up the little bruises and stuff. I don't get toenail injuries anymore, but I am not used to bare toenails on myself. they dont look like my feet! that is a really pretty color on you. I dont think I have a deep orange like that. I need to slug my hands and feet, so dry...
