My uncle was driving his tractor in Gonzales, Texas when a passing train disturbed a killer bee hive. He was stung 500+ times while trying to get away from them. He took a few Benadryl and had my aunt drive him to the hospital immediately. Taking the Benadryl saved his life!
Benadryl? so the anti histamine effect lessened the bodies reaction to the massive flow of bee venom and saved his body from going into some kind of shock or shutdown? That's good to know, we don't get killer bees here I don't think but when travelling you never know..
For all those On the fence about joining "THE KILLER BEE GUY " I joined last week and just received my 8oz jar of honey.. thank you REED & HOSH!! You guys are truly awesome .. Happy hunting !!!!! 😊
My great uncle was like that with his bee’s,I stayed on the porch they didn’t like me might have been they remembered that I hit the stand with the cutter bar mowing hay, got me every time got close to them they have long memories 😢
I understand that poison is nessacerity but how/what to do with the poisen then thats left in the garden, will there grow there, what of other pollinaters?
First hand reports from beekeepers is what we get. There are no Gov't agencies monitoring any of this anymore. I guess they have more important things to do.
Reed, maybe you & Hosh could write a book covering all of your knowledge of Africanized bees to educate everyone across the country about these sadistic stinging insects.
I’m a beekeeper, and while I have dealt with aggressive European honeybees, I want no part of aggressive bees. I know how to deal with mine. Thank you for educating people. How far is the parent hive from the swarm? I know European bees are within a quarter mile
David, great to meet you! Where do you keep bees? You are right not wanting anything to do with these. They are horrible! A swarm of these bees will go as far as 2 miles from the parent hive to set up shop!
I’m in Kentucky. I have had aggressive bees. I had some that followed me as far as 1/4 mile after opening the hive. I felt somehow I must have Africanized genetics, but after contacting state beekeeper. It’s like they are in denial that aggressive bees could be Africanized in any way. I broke them down into nucs, tore out queen cells, placed mated queens and calmed them down. But 2 of the 5 nucs killed my queen and died. It was like they only wanted their queen or nothing
Curious how to tell if a swarm is Africanized or just European that is upset? Is it common to confuse the two or is there an easy way to confirm other than the aggressive behavior? I hear that people frequently capture swarms to increase their number of hives.
I heard that about the pheromones before but I never knew it could go into your blood stream if you got stung.. and for a week well that's scary considering you could get attacked by angry mobs of thousands of bees just walking down the street.. Seeing as these smells are specific for the different colonies, I wonder does that mean that if you get this pheromone that makes you a "marked" man, is that also specific to the colony that bee came from, or is it a universal pheromone that a bee from any colony would respond and attack? I'm just thinking that if you are dealing with a specific hive and get stung, well those bees are basically gone from the area so I was wondering if you would still be marked for other bees when you leave that area?
Is there any research being done about trying to turn the africanized bees back into nice bees again? I'm glad the bees in my country are still chill as hell. Hell, even the wasps are. Never got stung in my life, only bitten by a Bumblebee that got caught under my shirt
I did not know that even the swarms were like that. It’s like 12000 winged Karen’s moving into the neighborhood. I’m suggesting you get a go fund me going to invest in a flame thrower.
I don’t about anyone else but the first time that happened at my house I would sell everything and move to another state where they aren’t at least for now. Update: He just said they are in all 50 states well that’s it now I have find a whole other country.
@@KillerBeeGuy So they have been found in north central Florida? I live about 65 miles north of Tampa in Citrus County what gets me I’ve lived here my whole life and never even seen a honey bee hive in the wild.
Its not the europeen honeybee that are killerbees its when they mixed them with the african angey ones you get the killerkind. They have mixed them in hope of getting more honey as the african kind makes more hobey even if they are angry. When humans interfer nature goes bad.
Some pest exterminators will deal with them but they wont attempt to save the honey, they will flood them with soapy water and let you clean up the mess. DO NOT TRY THIS . If they go into attack mode before you start spraying will be be hurt and anyone around too. Some exterminators will want to come back at night. These are not paper wasps. Dont try to spry them yourself, you wont make it.
If you are a true beekeeper you understand the how dangerous the killerbees can bee. Im glad that our europeans bees not are influence by those aficans bees. When humans interfer in nature this happens.
I LOVE your videos and am a subscriber, but can you make your videos a little less about you and more about the process of eliminating the killer bees? I appreciate your information and educating, but sometimes when your being humorous, it's just distracting.
Thank you! If there are not that many angry bees then it turns into education time which I do with a sense of humor. I'm glad you are enjoying the vids!! More coming...

My pleasure!
You two are so brave and so good to do this removing the Killer Bees for folks .
Thank For Helping Them
Cassie😅
Thank you Cassie!
It gets me the people that say you shouldn’t kill them unreal, I just saw a video about a guy in Texas they killed him he was stung over 3000 times.
Exactly! Baffles me too.
My great uncle was like that with his bee’s,I stayed on the porch they didn’t like me might have been they remembered that I hit the stand with the cutter bar mowing hay, got me every time got close to them they have long memories 😢
Their stingers are long enough for me! Not sure about their memories...
more people need to see you guy's love your vid's
Awww! Thank you!
I understand that poison is nessacerity but how/what to do with the poisen then thats left in the garden, will there grow there, what of other pollinaters?
The pesticide that we use goes inert in a few minutes.
Errr..... Mr.KBG; I'm pretty sure you're 'on a promise' with the laydees there........
Flirty away with the lady!!! Haha. Ask her out man. This is funny.
We're always like that!
How can I get a jar of killer bee honey? Would love to try it.
Go to killerbeeguy.com Thank you!
How do emergencies like this get paid for? Home owners insurance?
Unreal😩
Where were they found in Alberta? I can’t find anything about it anywhere and that would be big news there.
First hand reports from beekeepers is what we get. There are no Gov't agencies monitoring any of this anymore. I guess they have more important things to do.
reed spittin game haha
That was so much fun!
What do you need in your pocket for security?
Omg I just listened to allllll of that bc I forgot I wasn't watching live 😂🤦♀️
That was a classic one!
Thanks nontixic spray.
Reed, you are SO shameless. Roflmfoao. Luv you guys.
Awww! More coming!
I giggled throughout this whole episode like Hosh did 😅😂😂
It was classic! Such fun folks.
Can you use fire extinguisher on the bees? Im in New Zealand so we luckily dont have those bees. Great vid shame your reception varies but it happens.
They only work for a few seconds. Also way too expensive! Welcome to the hive Andree!
Reed, maybe you & Hosh could write a book covering all of your knowledge of Africanized bees to educate everyone across the country about these sadistic stinging insects.
Not a bad idea!
@@KillerBeeGuyof course you'll have to spell more than the 4 letter words you always use 😂😂
The benefit is that you don't have to hold back in your own book. No advertisers getting pissy about shit's and fucks and demonetization.
Hi guys, what time do you start your live stream? Thank you!
Not figured out what time yet! Probably this afternoon.
I cant figure out where the membership thing is lol. I looked on the main page but I dont see it
Thank you! It's the 'join' button. Let me know!
Shes got a grest garden witch can possibly become like that because of the bees, but its not worth it if its killerbees.
I watched Reed in a documentary the other day and he was hot! What a good looking guy!
Awww! Thank you Sarah! Some things never change...
@@KillerBeeGuyI ordered some honey and some mustard, can’t wait to try it!
Thank you!!

Curious how to tell if a swarm is Africanized or just European that is upset? Is it common to confuse the two or is there an easy way to confirm other than the aggressive behavior? I hear that people frequently capture swarms to increase their number of hives.
You can't tell by looking. It's genetic. It's a real problem!
So they look the same? that's kind of scary! For some reason I thought they would be much bigger
@@KillerBeeGuy
Your lucky they were so low they could have been high up in a tree

The attack pheromone is the same for all honeybees. Any hive would see you as the enemy. Best idea is to not get stung!
Is there any research being done about trying to turn the africanized bees back into nice bees again?
I'm glad the bees in my country are still chill as hell. Hell, even the wasps are. Never got stung in my life, only bitten by a Bumblebee that got caught under my shirt
It's impossible to breed out as you can't control who the feral queens are mating with.
Cant you vaccun them up to easier get them?
These Killer Bees avoid the suction!
Get to work,will you! Hehehe
Too much fun!
I did not know that even the swarms were like that. It’s like 12000 winged Karen’s moving into the neighborhood. I’m suggesting you get a go fund me going to invest in a flame thrower.
I would love a flamethrower but we live in the desert. No fire allowed.
I don’t about anyone else but the first time that happened at my house I would sell everything and move to another state where they aren’t at least for now.

WAY north Matt!

They are in all of the lower 48 AND Alberta now.
@4:05 Reed finally met someone shorter than him..... He towers over that Jockey like a GIANT!
Ha! I want one!
If you get the queen, its easier to take them out.
Too many bees trying to kill us to even look for the queen!
🙋
Oh Christ help us all. I think of those poor people who have to work out of doors.
There has to be a way to defeat these things.
RUN!!!
These things can od on instant bitch soup faster than i can.
How that's funny!
Do we not have any of the European honeybees anymore in the United States ? ❤ your channel
Its not the europeen honeybee that are killerbees its when they mixed them with the african angey ones you get the killerkind. They have mixed them in hope of getting more honey as the african kind makes more hobey even if they are angry. When humans interfer nature goes bad.
Thank you! There are still European honeybees (feral) in some of the country but these bastards are taking over!
@@KillerBeeGuy thank you 😊
Is Reed the only Africanized Bee exterminator in Cochise County AZ or are there others that do it also?
I'm the only one that deals exclusively with these bees.
The video feed sucks 🎉
All bees is bad
Native pollinators=good. Invasive species=bad...
Why dont you use soapy water which kills bees on contact and cheaper than glue
I used to use soap but got WAY too many complaints from customers about the mess!
