All of my office pens are nice and cheap. In fact, all made by Jinhao. I can safely walk away from my desk and not worry about an expensive pen getting "borrowed". So, I have the X750, X450, 51a and a 992 at work. At times I do change things around but always keep my good pens at home.

As a teacher, I liked to carry a pen in my pocket. The first one was a plastic Kaweco, then the Kaweco AL Raw (kids: it's a silver pen!!), but the lack of weight had me loose it once. I found it in a random place on the floor, glad to have it back, but I did change to the Brass version - perfect! (Kids: it's a gold pen!!) I've used it so much, that it has a gorgeous patina.
Btw, I never had to worry about coworkers borrowing my fountain pen, because I'm in The Netherlands and every elementary school teacher knows/ teaches how to write with one :)
Home with my kids currently, so I have all my pens around me, yay! My 5-year-old couldn't wait and just chose his first Lamy Safari from my collection and he is loving it - so cute.

Well, I'm a hospital chaplain, with a desk in an office, but spending the better part of my time on the units with people. I carry any great pen I like for impressing myself, quietly, and any others with eyes to see. I carry Jinhaos or Hongdians for quick use, in case I forget to pick them up again (not since 2006, and still mad about it). or to let intrigued people try. Also for pigmented ink, just in case. Jinhaos or Hongdians, with Diamine Oxford Blue in my desk to give to people who get excited when they see me use the pens. One could wish this last function to be more expensive than it is.

Working in an office with many mechanical engineers. The Pilot Vanishing Point was an obvious attraction.

I have used many pens at work but for one particular role I got two Parker Vectors. One was green with Daffy Duck (which I gave to my co worker) and the other was orange with Bugs Bunny. If during our supplier assurance assessment meetings either of us felt the suppliers were starting to feed us BS we would switch to start taking notes with the Warner Bros pen as a signal to each other that we believed that the scam was in play.

I like to take a Twsbi eco t bold with a fun colour for my notes and a well behaved Kaweco student with a medium nib with blue ink for documents and such

For many years when I worked in an office I brought my Parker Duofold (blue) to work every day. It was the only nice pen I had. I had a single bottle of Waterman blue-black ink there and I'd fill it once a week or so. No one ever asked to try it. Today, I mostly walk around with an Esterbrook Estie. Nice to use but not so expensive that I'd be upset if I lost it. Love your chats as always. 🙂

I carry 5 pens to the office in a Galen Learher Molded Pen Case:
    1. Visconti Homo Sapiens Bronze Age limited edition
    2. Lamy 2000
    3. Pilot 912 FA (bought thanks to you)
    4. Pilot Vanishing point
    5. Lamy Studio
Thanks for making great videos. I really enjoy watching in the morning.

I mostly use my Sailor Pro Gear Slim mini with MF nib at the office because it writes so well.

I also believe it will be a very colorful Benu.
Solo office worker here and I'd like to bring some flashy pens but have my daily writer that follows me around everywhere (1911 Realo) and switch between come cheaper Chinese pens like a Jinhao x750 or the x159 as my try them if you like pens.
Will gift a few to my co-workers this x-mas if they make it here in time just to get them a good start as they liked the writing feeling of the ones I brought to work.

When I first worked in an office, I had a gunmetal Sheaffer Targa, but that got lost. So I got a Parker IM, and a Pilot Metropolitan (both black/silver), and a Pilot Petit for my literal pocket pen. Then I got a black Kaweco Skyline Sport, and I'd use the Sport as my commuting pen.

I keep a cup for disposable Write Bros. pens as loaners, and swap them out whenever the office replenishes their Bic supply. On myself, I keep a Parker Jotter. My FP stays in my bag for after-work planning & journaling. You'd be surprised how even Bics have legs. A strategy of a no-lose fountain pen scenario.

Working at an engineering firm and I am sporting a Lamy ABC, waterman carene and a pilot E95S. Kinda tempted to get the Lamy 2000 now.

I work in an office and I've brought all sorts of pens to work. Lamy Safari's, Lamy 2000, Pilot Explorer, Pilot Vanishing Point, Benu Euphoria's, Sailor Pro Gear Slims, and (most recently) the Jinhao 82s. The only staple is that at least one of the pens I carry has to have a waterproof black ink.

I always pick some pens that perform. I like to have my Kaweco Brass Sport with me with Rhodia paper. That's a fantastic combo (or Maruman Paper). En then I switch. A Montblanc 146, or my latest purchased Graf Von Faber Castell Guilloche. Crazy nib.

Post Pandemic I always wear casual(ish) clothes to the office. I wonder why people did before the pandemic? I still see people wearing suits and I think why? I usually take my cheaper pens to the office. I sometimes take my L2K and Custom 74. Thankfully nobody has asked me to use them.

Not a fountain pen, but I recently got a LAMY Swift for daily office use. It's great and no fuss. 👍

Last pen I handed someone else to use was a 60¢ cheapie I'd gotten as a set from Amazon. Still a fountain pen.😁
Last one I handed to someone familiar with fountain pens was still somewhat indestructible, a 1937 Parker Challenger. Almost as thick and stiff a nib as any Sheaffer's Lifetime, very thick walled construction. Then I found out that they have a fountain pen appropriate light touch, writing, so I'd trust that person with anything that I have, now.
In October, it's been all gold nibbed pens of several types, but usually there's at least one fairly durable steel nibbed pen in use, in case I HAVE to loan one.
I getcha about the hard to break. 😁 Why several pens never leave home.

I’ve been taking my 2 Curidas pens in M and F. One had a cartridge of the Platinum Pigment Blue which is a nice color of blue and wetter than I expected. The other pen had Taccia Sabidori which is a great color. Goes down bluish-green and dries a muted green. My Lamy 2000 is definitely going with me to the office the next time I go in. No one has commented or shown an interest in my pens since I started working at my new job the last 3 months, so the Lamy will get a flashier partner this week.

I take retractables to my office, one with blue, one with black, and one with brown ink. I am currently carrying a Platinum Curidas, a Pilot Vanishing Point, and a Majohn A1 Clipless. I do a lot of running around, so I don’t want to worry about caps or letting an uncapped pen dry out.

I rarely go into the office these days but when I do, I never go without my TWSBI Classic, Burgundy. It's professional enough without being too boring and it writes perfectly every time. I usually don't bring any of my nicer pens but occasionally I'll bring a 1947 Parker VS. In case someone wants to try one, I'll usually have a Nemosine Neutrino, one of my favorite entry-level pens.

I bring three switching between Pilot Prera, TWSBI Eco and 580, as well as a Kaweco Sport and Muji aluminum. There’s always a Pilot Varsity on my desk as well.

I also take inexpensive pens to the office, including a second-hand visconti rembrant that I picked up very inexpensively. Magnetic cap makes notes easy to take.

Thanks for a fantastic video. I have a couple of Lamy 2000 fountain pens that I simply adore. Tell me, what color of KWZ ink do you really like? You didn't say in this video. Love all your pens. I am a fountain pen user, as well as a collector and a repairman. Thanks ❤️.

Were I still working, and wanted to switch from BiCs to fountain, it would have to be a retractable. Most likely I would buy a Lamy Dialog CC.
