2019 Discflect Classic Finals

- The 2019 Discflect Classic featured 34 teams vying for the shot at becoming Discflect Classic Champions. This was the 16th annual tournament, which included the last four Classic champions, last three World Champions, along with a number of finalists, final 4 contenders, and other top teams from prior years. In addition, the tournament welcomed the 2018 Discflect European Champions who traveled all the way from the Netherlands to compete.
In one of the most thrilling final 4 series in the history of the game, both matches went to multiple overtime rounds in Game 7, with No Big Deal (#2 seed from the Deuce Division) and Matteson Brothers (#2 seed from the Dinger Division) emerging as winners. In the Classic Finals, No Big Deal squared off against the defending champs in one of the best finals in the history of the Classic.

Do the cans have to be perfectly round? If so any tips on how I can get mine to be perfectly round like the ones in the video
Axel Granzini, we store multiple sets together, so we have one goal assembled, and then stack multiple goals inside of that one to keep them round. If you only have one or two sets, you can try storing them inside of a smaller garbage can (something of a smaller diameter) to keep its round shape!
They don’t necessarily have to be perfectly round, but they shouldn’t be oblong. Once assembled, you can also pick up and squeeze the sides until it forms to a better rounder shape.

For the championships you’d think that their slot shots would be much closer, anybody that plays ultimate can get much closer than these. And a 2 is easy. I play at tailgates where everyone has to play with a beer in their hand (yes I know that is not the official rules, but it’s more fun and adds an extra element) and we play just as good

Not knocking these competitors, but totally agree with others: two hands is lame. Also, like most people, we play outside in the elements and it makes things WAY more interesting to deal with wind.

These guys wouldn't even win at my barbeques, how are they in any sort of championship? Also one hand for assists, it says so on the official rules!
One handed or two handed, these guys are pretty good and can probably beat just about anybody. We've seen them play both ways and they are tough to beat! Yeah, it's tough for us because we were behind on time so it's always a rush effort to put this mini production together. We are still working on the kinks to get the audio right and improve on it each time. Hopefully the next go around it will be that much better. Thanks for watching!

This is not the Championship tournament, this is a smaller, indoor tournament. We see a lot of 3-pointers in this series. Not sure what else they should be doing to be the best! No one is throwing slots on every throw…
No big deal looks like they got behind 1 or 2 games and literally just got lazy with the jams and HOW can their slot shots miss so bad???

We hear ya! It’s not usually like this, that has more to do with the limited production we had for this one…but we agree that the outdoor tournament games are more fun to watch.

This Seems a bit Boring. Does it get more interesting then smacking a Frisbee into a Can. I wanna see some diving and blocking. Like what's up with that little Gap in the front. Looks like you can throw a frisbee through that.
There is definitely more action outside; this tournament was indoors so it was more about consistency since there was no wind. The opening in the front is the Instant Win slot.
