@@alanl2568 I used the blackstar id core 10 or 20. But it depends what sound you want. The blackstar will give you from a clean, crunch and overdrive so good for any type of rock. The amp in this video isnt terrible but I personally think its overpriced for what sound and volume your getting.

if you want to register directly with cubase connecting this amp to pc by phones out, does it sound good? or the volume is too high?

hey, know it's been a few years since you put this out. I'm really interested in this Lil amp, amazing versatility. Nice demo !! ALOT more thorough than most I've watched. Thanks !! Hi, Thanks for watching! glad you enjoyed it.
As for the "tap", that allows you to adjust the speed of your delays based on the speed you tap the button. The other effects have their wet/dry mix pre-set, and the more you turn up the knob the faster they go (chorus, flanger, tremolo). Hope that helps.

TurnerGuitarStudio1 ok, good to know. Yeah, I refuse to buy from Guitar Center. Been using the same local shop since my first Kramer in '85. If I'm gonna spend money, rather it go to a small shop. The owner is a graduate from Berklee School of Music in Boston, and still has the same luthier/tech since '90. If a few $ is a big deal I probably shouldn't be buying anything, ha ha, right ? Hi there! Yeah it has some nice clean to mildly-driven tone. As for pedals, it will handle modulation/delay/reverb sounds well but overdrive or fuzz sounds may be iffy. Hope this helps!
I think mine has died. It's quite new and hardly used but it's started to suffer from either interference or it is just throwing out white noise. Any suggestions?
I don’t know if you’ve gotten this sorted out in the meantime, (sorry for the slow reply) but that sounds like a bad cable or output jack on your guitar. It is possible that your amp does have a ground loose or something as well, but it’s a lot more likely to be on the guitar end.

Will the sound differ if I use electro acoustic guitar?
Reena Shah yes I was using electric, and in theory you could use an acoustic electric with the same pre-amp settings and get a similar sound to what I was getting with the electric (depending on your pick-up), but most people just want a clean sound for the acoustic in which case you would switch the top left knob all the way over to the right where it says "line". That input setting will work for any instrument that you want to get louder while more or less sounding the same as when it's unplugged. So acoustic guitars, bass, keyboards, etc.

Can using the metal amp effects harm the pick up of my acoustic Guitar?

Yeah, I was using an electric. The sound will definitely be different using an acoustic. They aren’t really meant to be run with distortion effects. If you try it and like it though there’s nothing that will be damaged by it. If you want to play styles of music with distortion though you will have much more success in terms of tone and easy playability if you purchase a decent electric guitar.
No, there won’t be any harm to your guitar using it with distortion. It just generally doesn’t sound very good. If you want to use those types of tones, you will be much better off purchasing a decent electric guitar as they will be easier to play, and have much better tone and use-ability for those styles of music.

Hi and thank you. Is it possible to put distorsion pedals on this kind of amp?
It certainly is. If you have a favourite distortion pedal you want to use, or just want a bit more control over your distortion, it might be a great idea. Just be sure to have it on the clean or the ‘line’ setting for best results. That being said, it has quite a variety already, so in most cases I wouldn’t feel the need to add a distortion to it.
Also if you’re already using a variety of pedals and things like that, purchasing this particular amp may be a bit redundant. The main advantages it has are its portability, battery option, and wide range of overdrives/distortions and other effects, so if your plan is to run pedals, you may be better off picking an amp that is much more basic such as a Vox AC4, or AC10 if your budget can handle that. You will get much better tones overall, though your costs and portability won’t be as high.

can u plz suggest how would this modeling amp sound if i connect my Boss me 25 processor with it?? shall i get good tones from the processor too??
Because this has the line setting, it will sound really good with any sort of effects processor or pre-amp as it won't have anything to clash with it. Some of the other settings will also sound good, but for sure on a line setting you'll get whatever quality of tone that Boss processed can give.
+James Turner thanks a lot brother.. now i can peacefully think of buying this amp because i faced a lot of trouble while connecting my Boss me 25 with my Line 6 spider 4 amp and so was so skeptical with modeling amps

+Shobhana Satyan compared to most digital amps yes, as long as you are on the line channel or the clean channel. You generally would not want to run a distortion into another distortion, so as long as you are careful about which setting you are on, it should do very well.

I guess this amp is made for electric guitars not classicals?
Yes, the amp is certainly geared toward electric guitar. A classical or acoustic with a good pickup system (something with an active preamp and decent controls) will be able to get a good sound through the line setting, or the mic channel.
If you are primarily looking to something to use with a classical though, my personal recommendation would be a Fishman Loudbox Mini. And if that’s out of your budget then something like the Kustom Sienna series amps will also work pretty well for about half the price.

The question is, “is it loud enough for [what]?”
Cause really it all depends what you want it for.
It’s certainly not loud enough to play a rock show on its own. But it definitely is loud enough to practice on your own, at pretty decent volume levels. You can easily play small coffee shop type gigs with it. It’s great for busking, and will get you heard even a few blocks away on a noisy street.
I’d recommend probably getting something bigger if you are trying to compete with acoustic drums or playing in a full band setting on any sort of regular basis.

The line setting bypasses your electric guitar pre-amp, giving you a super clean tone that will work for things like bass, acoustic guitar, ukulele, keyboard, etc. It sounds similar to your mic channel but gets both effects channels applied as well as a 2-band EQ
What about basses?
It works well with bass at lower practice volumes. I regularly rent these out or sell them along with Basses as the line setting works great for that. I wouldn’t suggest using it as a performance amp for bass or try competing with an acoustic drum kit, it just can’t move enough air with its 3” speaker to make that work.
