My god, this was beautiful. Officially my favourite arrangement of a song that I was obsessed with as a kid.
Andreas Bongardt I agree. I much prefer the simplicity of this one, not to say this is simple, but the other seems “over arranged”. This works with the eerie tone and melody.
I kinda agree. I didn’t like Landry’s rendition although that’s rare cuz I mostly like his arrangement but I like the solfage as opposed to the consistent reps between the melodies.

This morphed into something very different from the intro. The beginning reminded me of magical snowflakes, and then the music turned into something more of an epic Russian romance and love story. It also reminds me of a Disney production of Princesses and Castles; and maybe a Pirates of the Carribean Song, in an odd way.
I never tire of this waltz. It does remind me of winter snow flakes falling down at dusk time when the snow takes on a magical blue hue tone. This song also reminds me of some music from Pirates of the Carribean.
I still picture those first snow-flakes ❄️❄️❄️❄️🌨️floating down in the beginning of the cool, crisp winter skies. So awesome and dreamy! And, then much heavier and more dramatic. Exquisite playing and visionary imaginary effects. Love the beauty and subtlety of the ending, too. 🌹 👏👏👏👏
I just 2:50 minutes with my jaw dropped. This was so incredibly gorgeous! It's one of my favorite pieces and you definitely captured the spirit of the song. You deserve millions of subscribers!!

Movie says that Rasputin was enemy Romanov's family, but it not certainly in that way. Rasputin was a friend. But they trusted him, and he enjoyed that trust. He had absolute power. He predicted that if he died from the arms of nobles and upper classes, the Romanov family would bend, and if it was the people, then the family would exist for a very long time.
