Absolutely no problem at all thanks for Watching. Also I didn’t mention in the video but one read of the comments.. there is a Urgent technical Bulletin about making sure to slowly refill the oil otherwise it can cause a hydrolock and grenade the engine.
I looked for the dipstick for 20 minutes. Couldnt find it. Watched your video to get an area of location. Found it when I went back out.. Mines a little older than yours but in the same area for tbe most part. Thanks.
When you put the fuel filter and leave it loose and turn the petcock on till it fills with fuel and then turn it back off, tighten it up and then turn it back on back on and then he only have a small air bubble in it and it’ll probably go right through
Thanks for watching!! I can’t tell ya if the filters are the same or not for your machine but if you go to the WIX website they have a handy filter cross reference guide. That should put you in the money 💰
Changed out my hydraulic/transmission fluid yesterday after watching this video. Owners manual says 8.3 gallons of fluid. So I put that in. When I started it up there was a strange sound from the area of the pump. I cannot see the oil level on the dipstick and wonder since there is a FEL on unit if it needs more fluid?
I’m not sure on the hydrostatic models but did you change your filter as well? If there’s a noise from the pump it could be low, espoused if you got no reading on the dipstick
Went back today and it was too full. Couldn't see level yesterday but today in the sun I realized it was overfilled. Took out enough to only be full and noise went away. Thanks for reply
What brand & filter number did u use for the small hydraulic oil filter on the drivers side between the engine and frame rail? I was given a cnh #47671640 and the top of the threads bottoms out just as the seal barely is against the housing. This causes it to leak i can find any other type of filter through new holland dealership or napa. Does anyone have any suggestions?
My tractor is a gear/ clutch drive and has only 1 large hydraulic filter(the one I changed). Wix Makes excellent filters and if you type in the factory part # it will cross reference and give you the correct filter from them. wixfilters.com/Lookup/filterlookup.aspx
Great video. Can you explain more about what happened with the air bubble after you finished the oil change? Does it happen often and what did you do by taking that screw off what screw is that ?
deathfart2269 thanks for watching... Diesel engines require fuel lines to be fully filled with fuel. Think of it like brake lines in your car. When you have air in the line you have no pressure. The screw I messed with was on the injector pump, it was the bleeder screw. Sometimes if you run out of fuel or change the fuel filter air gets into the system and requires the screw to be cracked open to purge the lines till solid fuel flows from the bleeder.
If you do not know which way to tighten and loosen a filter I’m sorry but I think you should take your machine to a professional. I don’t think any amount of UA-cam tutorials may help you.
I’m 57, never done this before and got it on the first try! Thank you! Oh, and yes, I had to bleed the fuel line but the air gurgled right out!👍🏼🤗
Awesome!! Happy to help. Saved you some $$$ for sure
Excellent Video. Thank you, you answered all my questions.
Glad it was helpful!
Thank you for going to the trouble of making this great video!!!

Thanks for the tip. I’ll definitely try that
Like any oil or hydraulic oil, code the seal with oil just so it's easy to spin on n take off later....
How often do you change the oil and fuel filter?
As per the manual it says every 100 hours but I typically change it around 60-75 hours. It’s cheap enough even if it’s overkill
Thank you for the info I want to change the oil on a tc29 it's about 20 years old hope the wix filters are the same ?

How many oil capacity of holland engine?
Depends on your specific engine. The Shibura engine takes 4 quarts
Thanks. This is exactly what I have to do tomorrow.
Happy to help!
Are there two oil filters on this tractor?
Mine is the gear drive so there is only one but I do think there may be two on the hydrostatic models
Well done my guy. Thank you for the content.
