ZFG inspired me to try out a TP rando recently, and it's been hilarious because it's been a _brutal_ seed for a casual first-time rando player. I did similar settings, just added poes into the mix. Funny enough, poes aren't what made it brutal. I came to a place where I needed Master Sword to enter Temple of Time because it was the only dungeon I hadn't checked anything (I was trying to find the bokoblin camp key so I could get into Arbiter's Grounds). So to get into Temple of Time, I needed Master Sword. Master Sword was in the Hawkeye slot at Malo's shop in Kakariko - which only becomes available after beating Goron Mines. Mines wasn't a required dungeon for me, mind you, so this unlucky twist added _hours_ of play time because I then had to find the mines key shards... One of which was locked behind a lantern check in the lava cave near Bridge of Eldin. But lantern was locked behind bow, which was in a very obscure chest location in Gerudo desert that I never knew about (filthy casual that I am). Needless to say, I put 15 hours in so far _just_ so I could buy the freaking Master Sword from Malo. I still haven't beaten any of the dungeons I need to - Arbiter's Grounds, City in the Sky, and Palace of Twilight have the fused shadows. So this is probably going to be a 20+ hour seed for me. Yes, it was my own casual ignorance that caused this, but it's still pretty unlucky I think. And hilarious.
You can see how many of the ideas they had for skyward sword made their way into BotW/TotK by watching this video. Considering it's the same director or something like that, it makes sense. All of the sky islands and shield boarding etc..
@@blazen123 He did check it at the start, which meant he at least knew. Yet he's checking all these dungeon for master sword. That's why City in The skies didn't have anything. Because it wasn't mentioned. Goron mine won't have anything either.
Psh, can't even solve block pushing puzzles on the first try? And you call yourself a gamer? :-P No but seriously, I had no idea you could use the chain ball to push those blocks! That was pretty neat!
i love how ZFG always explains EVERYRTHING to a person in chat who isnt even asking in chat just to hear himself talk. seriously no one in chat has ever asks you to explain anything but youre always explaining it to some person in chat. youre legit pretending someones asking you but nope. you read a comment or reapeat a comment but no one actually asks you to explain any of this but you always go on tangents explaining mechanics no one ever even asked about so you sound important and smart. its like walking into a crowded market, leaning to one side, covering your mouth yelling into your armpit "ZFG's HERE I LOVE THAT GUY" and then you spring up and take the credit for your own complaint glad handing and waving to the crowd like "thank you, thank you everyone i do love me too so at least youre not crazy"
Can you give some examples for your claim?? This video is long enough, there should be at least one example you can provide,no? Because at 4:44 someone asks if LJA is in TPHD and he goes on to explain and show that it is, in fact there.
LJA could've been named "Boomerang Long Jump" just to mess with people used to SM64 and I think that's a missed opportunity.
Or you could call it Gale Boomerang Jump, GBJ for short...
LJA works when targeting on enemies and some other things as well, so BLJ wouldn't really fit for those cases

I usually set up randos to where I have to beat every dungeon anyway, beating the game without having done a significant portion of it feels... wrong
