Are you looking for an easier way to attach clip suspenders? The trigger snap (also called scissor clip) might be just what you’re looking for! These suspenders attach right to your belt loops and are simple to snap on and off. While traditionally made for western and leather suspenders, we now offer them for conventional elastic suspenders as well. Would like to hear the pros and cons of this type.
What I like about these vs clips is that they do not dig into your skin or clothing if you need to bend over or sit down for a period of time. Additionally, when going through airport security, I find these to be less of a hassle to remove a put back on. One Con I find to these is that they show of more metal than clip so they feel like less of a fashionable choice if you are going down that route.
Overall, I find these to be the second-best solution after button-on suspenders.
On Amazon stores where these are available, a number of people don't like the clip ons because they say it scratches their leather seat covers (home or car). Others say some clip ons tear into their pant material. I chose the black or anodized black (non shiny) trigger snaps. There are also TSA friendly trigger snaps which I got too for future convenience.
Is it okay to wear these with a suit?

Dave what suggestions do you have for cleaning or maintaining these suspenders? Can they be machined washed if the hardware is removed? Thanks.
I would put them in a small cloth bag and toss them with your laundry.
Will they they damage the beltloops?
They shouldn't.
