I like the fact that the UGL is basically a rocket shotgun.

The eminent domain was literally a short story bit during presidia
It looks like you can't target the cores of larger enemies like airships and naval ships without destroying all their armaments first.
At least you don't have to worry about icing up or getting struck by lightning this time.
You can,but only with ASM
Usually you can destroy a whole ship with a single ASM,but aerial battleships and sea carrier takes 2 (not too sure about sea battleships and land battleships tho)
@@iotcchan I think Railgun also can one-shot ships.
If you can get a large UGB to hit directly in the center of the ship (precisely timed), the entire ship is destroyed instantly.
I really like the rail gun concept in this game. The laxer trails they leave can damage your plane, so it makes attack ships tougher.
They are less of a railgun and more like a laser but yes, it a nice concept. Try dodging Alicorn railgun in AC7, pure drug hell.
Just like the Messon Cannons of Griswall in Ace Combat X: Skies of Deception.

the guns in this game are awesome, proximity fused HE shells give you far more reliable kills than the standard missiles.

@@choppergunner8650 Comic teases Monarch a few times across the campaign and pays attention to him, but one can tell she definitely cares for Dip amidst her tsundere insults. Several missions- I remember “Cold War”, “Return”, and hints in the secret credits dialogue involving Comic soothing Dip and making sure he’s okay. Prez herself ships them during the radio call in “Stepping Stone”.
Dip and Comic really did seem like Count and Huxian when I first watched a playthrough.
As for Prez... hard to imagine she’s not our designated waifu. Damn that girl’s the shit.

I played it to mission 8 and for now I don’t think you can improve them or something.
In campaign nah, in conquest you can buy more skilled ones and such

Considering this is a game made by Ace Combat fans, I would say there almost certainly will be.

Prez is a Yandere
One thing I noticed during this mission was a nice little detail the developers included. Something called "St. Elmo's fire", a phenomenon where plasma is formed on the the planes leading edges as a result of powerful atmospheric electrical fields.

I heard in an interview that the SU-25 can go supersonic in a dive. It's significantly faster than an A-10, at least.
Given that this is in the future, it is likely that the locals would be fitting lasers onto everything that floats, especially pulse lasers of the UV kind (got hyper sonic missile trouble? Use UV pulse lasers to swat them away!), meaning that unless the locals got genuine Battletech-like armor...
Given that humanity got knocked down by a global event, all the volcanos erupting as well as yellowstone sending ash into the air and, causing an ice age taking about 300 years to get back to this point. I can understand them not having lasers but do have rail guns. We don't have rail guns on our ships atleast not yet.
@@mattstorm360 The US Navy HAD them, but they scrapped the program recently after pouring 30 years of funding into it.
And they even had a combat ready one that they were going to put on the Zumwalts.

I'm just gonna assume Prez, when trying out for Hitman 4/5/something, she crashed/damaged the squadron's planes to the point it made a noticeable dent in Sicario's wallet.

The idea of sending out a lone Battleship (even a Stealth one) is stupid at best or criminally negligent at worst. They should form the core of their own task group at minimum or be seconded to a Carrier group.

The Su-25 is such a beautiful aircraft ever, in my opinion.
The best looking ones in my book are the Flankers and the Raptor, the Su-25 is not bad though. The ones Ukraine got look amazing.

I've managed to catch a good look of it in Red Sea mission. Imagine "Zumvalt"-shaped vessel but MUCH bigger, and fitted with FIVE GIANT QUADRIPLE RAILGUN BATTERIES (three forward and two aft)

That's a long mission. I've been playing in VR - I got killed half way through the mission on the second to last surface ship.

This is the second mission I have seen where it's named "Eminent Domain". The first one is from the Knife of Dunwall DLC from Dishonored.

Now that I think about it those railgun shells are actually going pretty slow...
This mission is just made me crazy man! I deleted game because of this extremely difficult level? why man just why? I'm gonna delete it third time and this game is f.cking over to me!!
if you find THIS hard, i would not reccomend playing the rest of the game because it gets ALOT harder.

Galaxy's voice is way too cheesy imo. AC7's AWACS voices were way better. It felt like they were actually sitting in front of a radar screen and doing their job.

Eminent Domain is a wierd name for a ship in general, let alone a Battleship.
We do not actually know how was this ship called before - the Rebels renamed her after capturing. Makes sense, though - basically an open manifesto claiming WE STOLE UR SHIT
