- Come with me on a journey beyond the Milky Way galaxy and travel 2.5 million light-years to the Andromeda Galaxy in this epic simulated tour. On the way, we will look back at our galactic home, observe the distant galaxies in the observable universe, and finally zoom through Messier 31, more commonly known as Andromeda, the largest galaxy in the local group!

what do you mean humans wont be around to see the collision? why wouldnt humans be around in 4 billion years??
I:)
Thank you.
Do you think you could soften your voice tone?
It does sound a little harsh.
In the beginning God created the Heaven and the Earth”
Looking at all those bright stars, and imagining all the different galaxies, there’s NO WAY Earth is the only planet they has living things
BIG question is will we ever find out?
We have 0% of finding it out and it’ll remain like that forever
@Ronald Brown a little hope for the future generation of a billion years to come perhaps and nonetheless you and I at that moment are nothing but history :/
Why would any civilizations want to have anything to do with us? We can't even get along with each other.
Give or take 200 years
Attempting to comprehend space always erases your mind of all other thoughts even if its just for the slightest moment.
It really is hard to wrap your head around the sheer vastness of it. Just an unimaginable scale. (Trillions) of galaxies.
I remember when I was serving in US Army we were out in the Mojave Desert at NTC. And at night you can see all the stars in the sky, as well as shooting stars. Having grown up in an urban area it was quite a sight to see.
Been there and done that too. 13 Bravo.

Thank you for your service. I bet that was quite a sight.

The sight was a beautiful reward of your service...

I'm definitely not stupid but I just can't even comprehend this stuff really.. like how large the universe is..
let's see if I can try to give you an idea imagine that a period in book is a star now if you want to get to the closest star go walk 5 miles to get to it.
@@somebluestaroutinspace5625 Imagine if you knew what periods were!
@@Swizzenator wut?
@@somebluestaroutinspace5625 because you didnt use a period for your sentences. lol he got you pretty good you have to admit.
Try to comprehend the multi verse. And universes in another dimension.
I think it's just amazing how galaxies gravitationally interact with each other despite the incredible distances between them.
Coz they big enough to interact
Everything in the universe gravitationally interacts with everything else in the universe, regardless of distance, since gravity has no maximum range. Granted, beyond a certain distance, the interaction is negligeable, but it's still technically there. The only time this is "broken" is when 2 objects are receding from each other faster than light (then they can't interact gravitationally, or any other way). But this only happens beyond the observable universe.
It’s just like an ant looking up at two people interacting with each other
Because you dont get how big and massive these things are
@@StormsparkPegasus Now the question is, what is beyond the observable universe without any interaction, is it part of the universe?
Even at 1 billion times the speed of light, it would take about 16 hours to get to the edge of andromeda.

It’s amazing how these galaxies are all carefully grouped in these clusters. Makes me wonder just how powerful and majestic the Creator of all things must be.
Glory to God! 🙏
@@ToyotaGuy1971 Indeed. Plus the narrator references "miles" as well as "kilometers", which is a good thing.
I remember as a kid I would look up to the night sky and see the Milky Way streaking across the sky. Now I can’t even see more than a few handful of stars in the sky while living in the city.
you mean andromeda?
I can still see it when I go to the desert
I have never seen it in my life 😭
City lights blocks evrything
The Milky Way doesn't streak. You must mean something else.
Best space science channel out here In this vast world of internet. Been subbed here for 4 years.

I travelled to andromeda in less than 1 second, but unfortunately by the time I came back to Earth 5 million years had passed already and I see a whole new set of species inhabiting it.
Well at least they're still speaking English.
Yes I enjoyed this journey to Andromeda. I would like to go on more journeys.
How insignificant we are there alone in this part of the cosmos and yet the history of us earthlings is replete with self-inflicted animosities beyond belief. Great piece of art the universe is if only we care to appreciate. Thank you !
Brilliant as usual. It’s almost impossible to comprehend the size of the Universe.
There are more stars in the universe than grains of sands on all the beaches on earth. You can not imagine this but only believe it.
Mjic
almost? lol
'There are more stars in the heavens than there are grains of sand on the earth.' Nothing could be truer.
I really like these 'Journey to' video simulations. Please make more.
Imagine how long the video would be if it wasn't "faster than the speed of light" 😂
2.5 million years🤷♂️😃🤦♂️
@@lukamartinovic1995 UA-cam left the Chat 😎
theoretically if you had a spaceship with lightspeed you would still get there instantly, (from your perspective, not the rest of the universes perspective.)
Space Engine is in my opinion the best simulation ever made. Its sweet watching my favorite universe simulator along side an awesome narrator.
The time is 3am at night in my country and I always like to spend time alone on my balcony just to stare the sky and enjoy the stars V 🌟
Your videos are so interesting and enjoyable. Could not be better. This was really informative. Cheers!
Cool
Awesome trip to Andromeda🌌Thanks!
Learning how the future of our galaxies' demise is comforting to know. And you're absolutely right...humans will not be around to see the greatest show in the universe. Hopefully the biggest show doesn't go to waste for whatever is around to witness it...
Yeah, but we didn't stop in and visit anybody or at a cafe and have a drink.
Clicked here within a heartbeat...
It's the incredible number of galaxies and number of stars contained in each that grips my imagination. The potential for the existence of life is great. I can't help but think that our wondrous universe must be teeming with life.
If we were the only life in this unimaginable vastness I would be very surprised.
Thanks for the trip to our neighbor.
You and Rolo have a great upcoming weekend. 🇺🇸❤🇬🇧
That "teeming with life" felt it had a Thanos touch. I liked it.
We're the first
Wish we has a ship that can traverse the cosmos in its entirety
Universe may just be a simulation by a much more advanced entity.
My friend, the vastness and beauty of the universe should lead people to the very simple conclusion that there is a benign and loving hand behind it which has made it so. That hand is God. As you say, there will be countless civilisations throughout the universe because God would not create a universe of this size and put life on a single planet. Alas so few see the Creator's hand behind it all due to pride and self sufficiency but if they looked with love and humility it is really very obvious.🙂
Shoutout to the cameraman who traveled all the way to Andromeda and back

I think we can keep zooming out to realise how insignificant we really are. Zoom out of our galaxy to reveal many galaxies. Zoom out again to reveal the universe. Keep zooming out to reveal multiple universes - the multiverse. I truly believe that our existence is no more relevant than an ant hill in the woods. And occasionally, we war with other any hills.
Well stated. Humans in my opinion are destroying our one and only home!!
The multiverse is a myth…

We are definitely not alone in the universe, there is life out there. Just look at the incredible size of the universe!

@ToyotaGuy1971 how incredibly arrogant do you have to be to think otherwise?
Earth has had multiple different life forms on it. Tens of millions of years apart. There are likely TRILLIONS of other planets out there that could/do support life
The fact that you correctly submit that Andromeda was an Ethiopian goddess is so wonderful. You're clearly very well educated. Your parents did a wonderful job!
Only in the 1920s did the American astronomer Edwin Powell Hubble determine conclusively that the Andromeda was in fact a separate galaxy beyond the Milky Way.
woooooooW 😍 magical journey.. brilliant work dear 👍
I appreciated it big time. Whoever making this video!! Fascinating!!!
Another marvelous journey. Accompanied by marvelous narration!
Fantastic! Enjoyed it... Question: I see individual stars flying past or stationary inside the Andromeda galaxy. Are these real stars observed through our earth or space based telescopes? Are these telescopes powerful enough too resolve stars inside another galaxy?
Something to learn. Thank you.

Wow the number of galaxies in the universe is unfathomable. Everyone on earth can basically have their own galaxy
Or a million!

Yes for these brains whom think this is all an accident, they have another thing coming when they have to kneel down to God and explain to him why they never believed or had faith in Him.
What we see as Andromeda galaxy now was happened when no human walked on Earth yet. We are looking 2 millions years into the past. Trully amazing.
