I'm really enjoying those pieces by these french composers, they have a certain delicacy and elegance. This one has a unique character to it, like a sorrowful and introspective melancholy
I stumbled upon your channel only very recently, but I've found what I've been looking for. As an electric bassist, I naturally feel "at home" when reading chord sheets rather than all detailed notation - but you allow me to learn it properly. This piece is wonderfully melancholic and violent at the same time, I feel. You absolutely do this piece justice with your immense control over dynamics!
I remember the very short "Regrets" by Pessard always admirably performed by you, some time ago. Little, in short, but still enough to understand the expressive value of a piano composer of great expressive value and too neglected; here, in the Nocturne we have ample confirmation of this. I hope to hear many other things about him, of course, because as they say here in Italy "the appetite comes with eating". A word only about its execution: the control of the parts and the thematic emancipation of the middle voice is miraculous, a sign that when you have "the sound in your head", so to speak, even the limits of a performance on a digital piano are not it can be too much of an obstacle to interpretative rendering. Also because in the melancholic repertoire it is unsurpassed!
Wow! You play the piece in a very passionate way and precise rendition with lots of emotion. An extraordinary interpretation by the way! Thanks for sharing your music and for the detailed infos as well! Keep safe and sound Julian! A New Friend w/ BiG Like & bell, Dan of 8 Black Keys.

So beautifully you brought out those alto melodies. 😍

Wow! Ravel’s teacher?! A beautiful melodic piece…
Man, I am a sucker for Nocturnes. Great as always
Oi Julian! Gostei muito do seu canal! Já me inscrevi! Sou do Brasil, São Paulo.
Nice performance of lovely sad composition.
Fantastic! And it is quite accessible to play.
This is a tearjerker. It is your fault, Mr. Gamma :)- you know how to do it - and the composer's, of course.

Dan of 8 Black Keys.
I can hear the inspiration from Mendelssohn. Very pianistic too. A very quintessentially romantic salon piece.
i like this piece a lot
Que lindo este noturno
У нас в Советской России есть композитор, который написал очень похожее произведение! ≠>)))
chúc các bạn may mắn trong bài kiểm tra :)))))))))))
beautiful! so romantic it makes one want to get tuberculosis
Ha-ha! Black humor but works.
Sincerely sad
Reminds me of the pop song Walk With Me by The Seekers, maybe this inspired them
Beautifull...
Name one thing you dislike about this music?
Beay
Pessard sounds like fish.
However, the music is one big salty tear.
