. In the previous video, we unbox Mi Pocket PowerBank Pro 10,000 mAh and test its charging methods and protocols. In this video, we tear down and test this power bank for its capacity, charging/discharging efficiency, and charging time. Results are here:

Capacity Record: 4818 mAh
Charging Efficiency of Power Bank: 84.1 %
Our testing results revealed that this power bank will give 32.11 Wh of energy means 6422 mAh capacity at 5V which in turn charges a 4000 mAh battery power mobile phone 1.6 times and 6000 mAh by 1.07 times. The overall efficiency is 71.75%

Did you check if the dual 5000mah lipos are connected in parallel or have separate rails? If they are on separate rails, it means charge current can be doubled. I have seen such feature is foreign premium range banks only

My power temp are not that high they reach 40 but not 50 as you have teardown before testing so I think it's that causing high temps as I am using it in last 15 days so that's my experience

charging capacity depends on device... if the device support 10 watt charging only...it will create less potential drop and will be more efficient and will be around 7500 mah....if device charges at 18 watt it will give less efficiency....

He's using a thermal camera to show the temperature. The camera is called "FLIR THERMAL CAMERA". We cannot use the smartphone camera for thermal imaging since it needs special hardware. just do a web search about FLIR thermal camera for smartphones for further information.

Each cell being 10mm is unnecessary thick. They could have used two regular 5000mah batteries from mi phones which are just 4mm each x2. Another 2mm for enclosure. 10-12mm final thickness.
The issue is cost. The thin phone batteries you mentioned are expensive. They are trying to produce affordable powerbanks.
@@erena3911 @Eren A Yes agreed. I bought a 10000mah urbn power bank from amazon for 399rs during diwali. I modded it to my redmi note 4 and now it works for 4 days with single charge.
Earlier I had bought my phones battery(4100mah) for 399rs online. After it arrived, I tested it and found it was just 2000mah. I made a video of it here - ua-cam.com/video/nQxNWq0nHT0/v-deo.html It started puffing up after 3 months so money wasted. Finding original phone battery is very very hard.
