@MrDugmeup According to Skeptics, in a 2 1/2 hour NFL broadcast, there is 11 1/2 minutes of game time. Split that between the offense defence and special teams and you got about 4 minutes for the average NFL first string player per game.
yeah....the quality is very good.....and you see, that you really leárn from video to video......for example the text-part is very nice....^^good job dude
Well, I just played 2 videos back to back. One of them was football, the other was rugby. It has come to my attention that football is nothing compared to this. Rugby is flipping awesome!
the forces involved in these tackles must be immense, having the strength to stop 20 stone of raging muscle in its tracks and put them on their arse, much respect indeed
@LtakeOanotherVlookE If you watched a full match you'd realize what they we're doing after the ball came out of the ruck, but the ball isn't coming out of the ruck in 3 second clips which is why the statement "Watch a full game" comes back into play ;)
I'm a lean 225 and I wouldn't want to get infront of these men. In highschool we had a kid who played rugby on the baseball team. He was called hulk cause he was 6'7 265 and the unstoppable force...this has to be the most brutal sport out there. And all I have to say about it is the fact that it is beautiful.
@char1eston There have been rugby players who have died because of an Injury. One of the players was Gareth "Snid"Jones who broke his neck from getting headbuted on his shoulder whilst getting the ball out of the ruck & the player who done ran metres before doing it. Gareth ended up on life support for 2 months before dying!
Rugby: The men who play this sport are beasts, crazy and legends we don't just accept the injuries and the cuts and bruises, we dare people to give them to us. The bigger the injury the less we care. We are the world's true men you can't stop us.
@hobojoe102 your right, football players do get a 10 second break between plays that last between 10-15 seconds, the difference is that in that short space of time they play at 100%, rugby players dont play at 100% for the full game. its a different form of contact, tackling and conditioning. rugby players train for long term stamina at a steady space where as American football players train for 100% explosiveness in repetitive bouts. As for the pads. do you know the reason why they wear pads?
@1912cta NFL requires more burst than Rugby which is why the hits are harder. Rugby is more of a constant flow of energy, but to be honest, they are equally conditioned, what happens on the field reflects what happens off the field.
@shibby4evr31 uhh not really. these are love taps compared to some of the big shots you see in football. they are pretty big, but when you have pads it gives you the ability to hit much harder
@eoin900 i did that in my new video exept for instead of a club its with a hit of the bass or with a beat of the drums and i've been told by many that having it intime is stupid i don't think so but tbh vant be fucked to keep cutting it up like that atm i'm using windows live and theres a glitch that if i cut it at a certain point the video freezes for like 3-4seconds when playing it until it gets to a certain frame the music dosent stop it's not lagg it just freezes footage for like 4secsonds
Half of these are spear/high tackles, while the others are just great hits, showing how much skill and precision it takes to legally beat the piss out of someone.
@hobojoe102 I'm a football player, and I have to agree with you. Every single player on a rugby field is extremely athletic, while there are some linemen who run a 6+ second 40...the only thing you said that was stupid was that football players get a break every 2-8 seconds. Most plays last a lot longer than that. However, overall I do agree that rugby is a more physically demanding sport in general.
I am an American high school Rugby player. Rugby is the best sport I Have ever played. I am better at football but I would give anything to be the next great lock
I'm a huge fan of both NFL and Super 14, and i play rugby for club and school. American football isn't anywhere near as tough as rugby. We don't use 86 different types of padding, we don't have dozens of breaks in play, we play the full 80 minutes as hard as we can go. Yeh, NFL has some effing big hits, but rugby does to. And we have continual, bone crunching hits without breaks OR padding. I do love the atmosphere of NFL games though
notice how this video only has about 10-15 games in it, more or less. thats how brutal rugby is, you can put a 5 minute highlight videos on just the hits.
@TheLiamDonohoe anyways this is the super 14(soon to be super 15) soo.... probebly explains why alot of south africans and kiwis but theres the aussies in there 2 like for example right near da end you see adam ashley cooper putting on a bloody brutal hit and yes i am australian
Amen to OwnedByleo14! I am from USA to and i play rugby. and it is true. we are all crazy beasts who will reck you when ever you meet us on the Rugby field. USA! USA! USA!
Notice that there are 3 or 4 clips from a single game time. These aren't the biggest hits of all time, just huge hits from a few matches. That's how intense this sport is.
Having played both American Football and rugby this is what i have learnt from them. In football you can make tackles that look more impressive and occasionally you can make very hard tackles, however in rugby you are subjected to more tackles, and more often than not these feel worse than in Football because1 You're wearing less padding2 You're not focusing on the contact and protecting yourself, you're looking for a pass or trying to get in position to make the ball available
@MiniPeegs What makes you think AF players have to buy their equipment? The teams own the equipment, even youth players only have to buy cleats (boots) and a mouth piece (gum shield). Many high schools, and all college and pro teams supply everything.
the song name is lights out by frontlynaz . i saw all the comments asking for the song, took awhile to find it, but here guys :)
Great video! One of the best of it type I have seen! Jeez, these few games looked brutal and that tackle at 4:22 can't have ended well :(
this is my first year playing high school rugby and i have already fallen in love with the sport! only if rugby were bigger here in the states...
awsome vid dude...this is by far the best super 14 hit montage on youtube, keep up the good work man.
Great video! ... and not only is the quality good, but unlike some other 'big hits' videos out there, most of these tackles are legal. ;)
It's nice to see a rugby video with NEW FOOTAGE. Fair play to ya
Ohhh, Eoin you've done it again.. and I thought version one was good. Faark, good work man.. lots of hours put into this.. really appreciate it.
For everyone asking, the song is Lights out, by Frontlynaz
No other club rugby completion can hold a candle to super rugby
@tanaoi the song is called 'Lights Out' by Frontlynaz
The Best Rugby Video y have seen in my life!
Well Done!

Name of the song is Lights out - by Frontlynas
In football (soccer), players pretend to be hurt to not play, in Rugby we pretend we aren´t hurt to play. Great video btw
The song is called Lights Out by Frontlynaz
Can you re-upload the Huge Rugby Hits original with the song Ugly by the Exies. Loved that vid and it got taken down.

The song is Lights Out By Frontlynaz.
the forces involved in these tackles must be immense, having the strength to stop 20 stone of raging muscle in its tracks and put them on their arse, much respect indeed
@eoin900 i'm gonna watch this on sundays just before my rugby game to get me fired up
good video
@LtakeOanotherVlookE If you watched a full match you'd realize what they we're doing after the ball came out of the ruck, but the ball isn't coming out of the ruck in 3 second clips which is why the statement "Watch a full game" comes back into play ;)
All the clips are from the Super 14! I didn't watch most of this year's comp so I'd forgotten how brutal it is. Can't wait for next year.
I love how so many of the hits on this video and the first are by the Hurricanes! Go the CANES!!!!!!!
Rugby is probably what is scaring the aliens away.
Very nice vid, good quality, and nice tackles in there, but even better off loads. Proffesional play there.
Hey do you have the first Huge Rugby Hits video you made still? I can't find it posted anywhere
@AidanLikeMusic yea it's also partly australian and south african but mostly New zealand
This shows why I love Rugby, this vid has like maybe 4 different games and look all the hits, way better than football.
great vid man, havent seen a load of those yet, some serious hits
i can't believe i've been missing out on this sport, football (underrated)
So excited for rugby season, cant wait!
I'm a lean 225 and I wouldn't want to get infront of these men. In highschool we had a kid who played rugby on the baseball team. another great video eoin nice work
@QuinneyBoyz does it honestly looks like they're getting into position or are they jsut rallying with the ball.

This deserves more than a million hits.

@MrDugmeup according to skeptics, in a 2 1/2 hour football broadcast there is just over 11 minutes of playtime in an NFL game.
0:42 SPINE BUSTER!!
1:13 SPEAR!
1:38 CLOTHESLINE!
4:20 Failed headbutt...
Moral of the story---> Who needs wrestling when you have rugby.
song-lights out by frontlynaz

Football = Strategetic, Scared
Rugby = Hardass, Skillful
i hate it when people say it takes no skill, it takes skill, stength and huge balls to face up to someone who is going to crush you
i play rugby and its tough but its a very beautiful game and i respect every rugby player
The song is lights out by frontlynaz
What is the name of the artist and the song in this video?
Big Kash - The Arrival
@GT500LarryNoodles this isn't at the international level mate. this is the super 14. there are 3 different teams in the super 14 that are in red.
@IxStealthKillZxI
did you find out what the song was called in this vid?
@jb19941 if you have a 2 on 1 on the wing, throw a dummy and its the best feeling when the linesmen and the player in front both buy the dummy
Big hits that will make wimpy footballers cray

Rugby is the most fun I have ever had in sports
What was the music? Was it Tedashi, or Lecrae? It sounded good.

That Lions Chiefs game looked absolute filth. Fucking love it.
Great sport, great soundtrack - rugby and frontlynaz best combo
@AaronPro8 i recorded them off the tv and then uploaded them to the computer
@GT500LarryNoodles lol there are two red teams but you're probably talking about the Reds, they're from Queensland Australia
notice how this video only has about 10-15 games in it, more or less.
thats how brutal rugby is, you can put a 5 minute highlight videos on just the hits.

Amen to OwnedByleo14! I am from USA to and i play rugby. and it is true. we are all crazy beasts who will reck you when ever you meet us on the Rugby field. USA! USA! USA!
@LtakeOanotherVlookE Once again your watching clips not full matches, they slow down so they can get into position for the ruck.
Whats the song called? Its amazing.
Like the quality of the video :).. Good job!
I LOVE RUGBY!!! IN OUR BLOOD! XD
So i have one question...Do people not lower their shoulder in this game? Or is it free shots to the ribs if you don't notice the hits?
@arukahero yes... where are you from? de donde sos?
amazing vid
what is the name of this song?
i've been trying find out what song this too
Notice that there are 3 or 4 clips from a single game time. These aren't the biggest hits of all time, just huge hits from a few matches. That's how intense this sport is.
@guernican
Will you fund the program?
Notice all the hits between 3:30 - 3:40 are in the same game - must have been a lot of tension in that match!
I noticed that a lot of New Zealand Teams were making the big hits. They should be congratulated. :)
The properly big hits are done with good technique! Shows how to tackle and destroy an oppositions morale
whats the name of the song? its class!
Whats the name of this NICE music someone plz!
Great video, shows great hits that are legal.
awesome vid eoin
@cheez4me333 its called lights out by frontlynaz
@CommandoX1234 thats the point lol to add emphasis to the hit
LOL at the guy who just completely missed the ball then BOOM sit down son.
no rugby teams in Mexico?????? to and what song is that of your video
00:17 damn, did you catch the number on that bus?
these are just those times when everything you do in a match is perfect.
@UHtiger thats totally different then just standing there and getting hit out of no where..
Having played both American Football and rugby this is what i have learnt from them. Lmao, it's ironic how every rugby video i go to has AMERICAN MUSIC on it
