Looking back at this shell ejecting blaster its actually not bad at all loading the shotgun shells at the bottom feels like loading a real shotgun is pretty cool a year later and its still a fun blaster to gift children nerfers for there birthday or in Christmas holidays even though its a bit pricey but still worth the price

Absolutely, it is more on the emotional part and not so much on the performance, I am the performance is actually ok as it fires similar FPS with the Nerf Elites. And the weight of this blaster is probably the most satisfying part

I don't have an ejecting shell blaster yet. This one isn't bad at all. If I could bump that FPS up it would be a prime candidate. Great review again!

The xm1014 spring fit, but I strongly advise against high rates. The plunger is weak compared to the UDL design, and sadly not compatible to the UDL plunger due to mold changes for the ejecting pin design on the plunger head.
Unlike the UDL you also can't straight buy the plunger if it breaks.
But a xm1014 upgrade spring with 9kg or 10 should be fine. Just don't use the 11.5 and 14kg ones.
You can get into 100fps with brassed 17/32" inserts into the shells and proper short dart.

So I bought the BLG M870, when I tried it, sometimes the last shell in the tube won't get pumped into the chamber, I had to pump twice to get the last shell in, this happens not all the time but quite a bit, is that normal?
