There's some moments where the vocals should've been louder because the music is loud, which make them sounds less powerful. But overall it's nice. I'm looking forward to their live performance, I hope they do sing live cause their vocals are what we're looking forward to.
I think it is a smart idea that they debuted with this kind of song. It made you confused of the way it is sound and transitioned but the good thing is it awakens your curiosity and it makes you want to do a second or third listen. And then, it can't get out of ur head HAHAHAHA and now, I'm stuck with the Coke Zero lmao.
I didn't like it at first. It's basically kind of like ITZY Loco for me. I absolutely hated that song and now I've been obsessed for months now. This was another interesting debut, after XDINARY HEROES debut I really had high expectations on this GG and they didn't disappoint!! I love the fact that they actually don't have a fixed position, which will make them try new fields and shine equally. Coming back to the sound of this debut track .. this was really well MIXXED LOL it didn't feel like they were two songs, because they included the the second part of the song into the last chorus, therefore it was greatly arranged! I'm happy to see that they weren't afraid to show their boldness in the song .. the rock section was really lovely yet powerful. I sincerely hope they will keep with this concept where they can try NEW things without the fear of reaching an UNKNOWN area. WELL DONE NMIXX AND THANK U FIFI FOR THIS REACTION :)
I feel like there's not enough an anchor sound to make all of the song section doesn't actually sound out of place from each other. The main best example is next level, they have i think the same melody or bass line under the entire song so that it has some continuous quality within every section. I was so mind boggled by this song (O.O) bcs i didn't find that quality on the first listen, and i still haven't find it after some time now 😅 but the sound does grows on you (i think because every section is actually interested/good enough to make you comeback to it) Also i want to point out that the production is just to lacking at some parts, when actually, a song this complex needs a really good if not the clearest production so that it doesn't sound more messy. To note again : I FUCKING LOVE TANK 😂

Literally Me. I knew two things for sure, that I wanted to watch again and again and that people would hate it lmao. And Boy was it true, their reception makes Aespa's hate parade at debut look like celebration. After watching the mv a few times it's honestly one of my favorite things to happen this year concept wise, there's SO much I want to say about it. The biggest thing is that everyone kept asking why JYP would debut another group when itzy and twice pretty much cover everything music wise... what could nmixx bring? And that's the thing--- I don't think JYP debuted them to serve that purpose. I genuinely think they saw an opportunity to create a group where the music and the story are dedicated to each other and not the charts or even GP. It's mind blowing once you start seeing everything fitting together

I loved how you said people are gonna hate this, I love it. I checked out the girls before their debut through their pre-releases such as covers and dance performances and they're so talented, I recommend you check them out. I enjoyed the songs but i prefered TANK, I still need time with the title but i enjoyed every part of it, but together i'm still not used to it.
The group will introduce their own genre called "mixx pop" which is a mixture of different genres in one song, The genre is inspired from their name NMIXX in which the "N" is everything like NEXT NOW NEW and UNKNOWN N, while "MIXX" means mixed with anything. That explains why the song has many mix of different genres.

O.O reminds me of sm songs like snsd’s i got a boy. I think a lot of people probably will not like it, but some may do. It’s alright, everyone is different and has different taste. I’m also not a fan of this type of songs, but it doesn’t mean the girls are not talented. They are super good and talented! This is just their debut right, so i think jyp is still trying to experiment with the suitable concept for these girls. Tbh if they just choose the first part of the song is epic already, but i guess they want to be different. each part is actually good on its own.

I'll be honest, I'm one of those fans who like sticker on the first listen, same with next level, I'm used to te experimental sounds but this I was just ????? Like it's not that I hate the song, or absolutely love it, idk but I think everytime I listen to it my brain had to digest what's going on and I think that took away from the enjoyment of the song. Even afterwards I'm trying to figure out what just happened. Like loved the first verse and chorus, not much of a problem once I got into it, it gave sticker intro that I was confused about but got into quickly, then the second verse happened and that's where i got lost and then we transitioned back to the vibe of of first verse and that's where I kinda started to think more than listen like what just happened . So like again I don't absolutely love it, but the second verse, it's slowly growing on me actually But talent wise, these girls have the potential to dominate, unfortunately I feel like starting with such a sound people still aren't accepting of fully yet, I mean lots of people hate hate this, might be a two edged sword but I genuinely have such high hopes for them

Literally Me. I knew two things for sure, that I wanted to watch again and again and that people would hate it lmao. And Boy was it true, their reception makes Aespa's hate parade at debut look like celebration.
After watching the mv a few times it's honestly one of my favorite things to happen this year concept wise, there's SO much I want to say about it. The biggest thing is that everyone kept asking why JYP would debut another group when itzy and twice pretty much cover everything music wise... what could nmixx bring? And that's the thing--- I don't think JYP debuted them to serve that purpose. I genuinely think they saw an opportunity to create a group where the music and the story are dedicated to each other and not the charts or even GP. It's mind blowing once you start seeing everything fitting together

I checked out the girls before their debut through their pre-releases such as covers and dance performances and they're so talented, I recommend you check them out. I enjoyed the songs but i prefered TANK, I still need time with the title but i enjoyed every part of it, but together i'm still not used to it.

The group will introduce their own genre called "mixx pop" which is a mixture of different genres in one song, The genre is inspired from their name NMIXX in which the "N" is everything like NEXT NOW NEW and UNKNOWN N, while "MIXX" means mixed with anything.
That explains why the song has many mix of different genres.

O.O reminds me of sm songs like snsd’s i got a boy. I think a lot of people probably will not like it, but some may do. It’s alright, everyone is different and has different taste. I’m also not a fan of this type of songs, but it doesn’t mean the girls are not talented. They are super good and talented! This is just their debut right, so i think jyp is still trying to experiment with the suitable concept for these girls. Tbh if they just choose the first part of the song is epic already, but i guess they want to be different. each part is actually good on its own.

I'll be honest, I'm one of those fans who like sticker on the first listen, same with next level, I'm used to te experimental sounds but this I was just ????? Like it's not that I hate the song, or absolutely love it, idk but I think everytime I listen to it my brain had to digest what's going on and I think that took away from the enjoyment of the song. Even afterwards I'm trying to figure out what just happened. Like loved the first verse and chorus, not much of a problem once I got into it, it gave sticker intro that I was confused about but got into quickly, then the second verse happened and that's where i got lost and then we transitioned back to the vibe of of first verse and that's where I kinda started to think more than listen like what just happened . So like again I don't absolutely love it, but the second verse, it's slowly growing on me actually
But talent wise, these girls have the potential to dominate, unfortunately I feel like starting with such a sound people still aren't accepting of fully yet, I mean lots of people hate hate this, might be a two edged sword
but I genuinely have such high hopes for them

Ok soooo I LOVE Tank. And before the release I wasn’t sure if I would because I thought the repetitiveness would be too much. But in the context of the whole song I love it.
But on the other hand, I do not think O.O is for me lol. For one, I don’t like the intro part. It’s sonically a little harsh on me. And u see beyond that, I like all the different parts of the song. I like the switch up and all that. But I think it’s the transitions for the switch ups that bother me. Like the whole silence thing that happens just feels too stark for my ear. so I don’t see me listening to O.O much more. But TANK is gonna be stuck in my head forever lol. i actually loved it on first listen. I love chaotic songs LOOL. I'm just trying to vibe along. Not critique and judge every song I listen down to the structure and where everything should go LOL. this song is literally pick and mixx (pun intended) it up i love it so much! also tank is fun too but it does have some repetitive parts which is why contrary to popular opinion O.O was a good title track choice. their predebut stuff does do them a bit more justice though. however, excited for the performances and for them to release more music already! also yes it sounds like sm not only bc of the switchups but it is because dem jointz who literally produced sm songs produced tank, so those haters talking about plagiarism is besides the point.
