Hi Scott, I am a little guy in the world of fishing. I'm technically new to bass fishing and never really caught much, but I really do want to tournament fish and I have a kayak and I'm about to start working on a Jon boat bass boat build so I can practice but one thing that I've learned from you which I will take into fishing if I ever do tournament fish, you never take it too serious. You get excited and you get upset but it's never too serious. Which allows you to change pace and not get too lost or deep into a mistake. I really appreciate your content and I'm learning a lot from just watching you. The veteran presence is amazing. Also, I hope this text went right because I definitely just voice texted.
Do or Die on the Coosa River, by far the most intense and exhilarating introduction to any of your videos in my opinion, I watch the 2020 recap before every tournament I fish to get in the zone, Great stuff!!

My great uncle lived on that lake it can be a grind at times for sure. I fished it a lot as a kid and teen there's some massive bluegill in that lake too lol.

Your observation about the falling water and bite dying is spot on. I have fished on Lay my entire life and something about when they drop that water quickly just puts the fish in a super negative mood.

Scott. You touched on the tablet a bit. I would really love to see a video of how you study the lakes before you get to them. Maps/apps what you look for etc. That would truly help me on my progression to becoming a better angler.

As technology progresses, as someone who's never used one I think it would be really cool to have an overlay of the fish finder on screen to show us what he's seeing. It would be interesting to watch the fish take a bait on the finder.

Why is the Elite series scheduling these lakes in these orders? Right now in FL, if you don't have a 35lb bag, you're done. That's a WHOLE lot more fun to watch...JMHO.

Hey Scott. Big fan of your dad and now you also. I just spent two days fishing lay lake and only got two bites. Just couldn’t find them. Do you think the bite is just tough right now with the heat? I was really frustrated not being able to catch anything in two days. Lol.
The thing at Lay lake the swim jig was basically developed there those fish have seen one everyday for years there. It's a tough bite and the fish are milk fish don't school alot.
You have to remember that the Coosa is a milk run type river, fish reload on the same spots day after day year after year. It's not really a pattern system it's more spot specific
Scott, first off, I love watching your videos, but I'm curious. Do you ever use your practice days to scout the lake looking for groups of fish, not only inshore but offshore as well?
I dont bass fish crappie only but i keep up with a few of yall fellers .... And lay is a great fishery for everythng its got some hawg crappie in it to ..but enjoy the content man 👍

I use a similar jig for Striped bass called a hair racer that looking similar to the white jig you been using, where the 5 pounder chased it.
